LOL, not everyone is on Facebook! This modeling site is much better organized and useful than the banter over there, so I hear.

Ah, sorry mate, John Buffum is known as "JB" here in the states. You have the kit! He drove in the RAC a few times in the BFG road car shod Quattro.... -

@nacho z, I have found with Tamiya spray paints, and their clear, even after waiting a few days or weeks, when I tape the body for masking, the paint has the imprint of the tape on it. More like IN the clear. You had no problems with the TS-13 clear. Was that from a rattle can? Did you do anything special? -

Cool, I have started building JB's car as well, and will be watching your progress! -
Do the parts come out of Europe or from the Livonia, MI facility in the US?

Love the light dusting and weathering. Good dry Acropolis replica! I love Group A. I have three real cars that are homologation specials. Good work. -

Well, that was a long vacation. Last year wife had an idea to take the RV to Florida for the winter. This year the same. Since I generally model in the winter season, guess what.... Got back early this year and about to finish this dirt bag up. Here may be a few new photos....gotta finish it for the model show on Sunday at Macomb Community College....

I built that kit a few years ago. It was a bit misaligned for sure. I am sure you will do a great job at this, and am watching the build. I think I will take a look at my model and see how bad it really is -

Nice, I am building this model, but not to your level of detail. Keep showing your work, I enjoy it! Also, I have used that yellow Tamiya tape. It leaves a residue on painted surfaces and distorts the clear or paint. Do you have the same problem? -

AJ Foyt Chevelle

Nice model of a fun subject! And thanks for the WB information that I never realized. Tell me, why the resin model body over one of the AMT or other injection molded kit bodies? I don't like the wheel openings of some of the injection molded Chevelles, but thought it fixable.... Very nice thanks for sharing!
