  1. Great build and an awesome save. Very, very nice looking Cadillac.
  2. Looks great, very nice job. I have one in my WIP collection that I plan to build as a replica of a '66 GMC Suburban 4x4 my dad's friend owned in the 70's. I thought it was awesome back then. Well, I still kinda do.
  3. Thanks guys. The color looks a little darker in the picture, but I think it's pretty close. It might be a tad brassy, but it'll work.
  4. Thank you Alan. I found a catalog online and took a screenshot of a seat cover & scaled it to fit, printed and white glued it to the seat. A little pastel rubbed in made it look used,
  5. Some progress on the C20. Between working (employment), a 1:1 truck project, and now spring yardwork (not complaining about spring), time is hard to come by. I've been working on paint and weathering on the hood, bed and roof. Since I had to start over with a different cab, I haven't painted it yet. I painted and assembled the interior. My old truck that I am basing this off of was converted to a Turbo 400 automatic when the 425 nailhead was installed, and they used a Mustang shifter. The closest thing I could find was a piece of the console and the shifter from the MPC '73 Mercury Cougar that I previously robbed a roof from. Close enough for me. Pictures below are a halffast mockup without wheels... just fitting things together to get an idea of how it will look.
  6. Thanks Carl. I'm slow getting back to you, I haven't checked this topic for a while. I ended up starting over with the second cab because I ruined the first one trying a half-baked attempt at filling that gap. I used the kit panoramic window and cut out a smaller opening for a new window. On the second one I used delicately applied putty to fill the gap. Photos to follow.
  7. Looking very nice.
  8. Nicely done. Looks like the real thing.
  9. That is a really neat project Urs, and you are doing a fantastic job. Your detailing is superb. Very unique car.
  10. Some great ideas. I just spilled a good portion of my remaining Tenax the other night. The bottle needs bulk at the base. And I'm continually hunting for the brush.
  11. Looks great. I like the rally wheels & Polyglas GTs, and the color.
  12. That turned out really nice. Great build!
  13. Looking great. What a fantastic save & restoration. I'm enjoying this one.
  14. Very realistic looking detailing and weathering. Looks fantastic!
  15. Very nice, looks great in the shiny red. Such a cool car... I need to get one of these.
  16. Nice lookin' Pete. Good job. I like the color and the interior.
  17. Thank you. That was insightful and enjoyable. The older we get, the more we realize the importance of spending more time doing the things we enjoy, and less time doing the things we don't. I guess that's why they invented retirement.
  18. Beautiful job on that Camaro. The paint is stunning and the details are well done. Just a pleasure to look at.
