  1. The silver B4 pictured is a brand new prototype undergoing shakedown testing at what I believe is Mt. Fuji speedway in Japan, and therefore has not won any races, much less been in any races. But, it does look like it could do the task. Of course, looks mean squat in racing.
  2. I'm not holding my breath for this one to show up on a hobby shop shelf, but I wish it would!
  3. Gregg, I just left you a message under the "Update e-mail" post. I need some help on eliminating a "dead" account that has my current e-mail addy. I need to delete "SpyderII", that has my correct e-mail corsacamino@ne.rr.com, but I cannot even figure out how to sign in on that account, much less change or delete it Sorry fer beeng a compooter doofus! BTW, hope I didn't leave a negative impression on the Scooby, I think it rocks! And, how could anyone say "the wheels look too small" when they tower over the fenders???
  4. I have a "1:1 MOPAR- WHEELSTANDERS" photo reference album, maybe this will be of some use to y'all? http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_mopar-1/11_mopar-_lil_red/
  5. Considering their tendacy for Rally or Super GT cars, this Subaru 2010 Legacy B4 Super GT is a possibility... Love it or hate it, you cannot help to notice the 'sectioned' bodywork! No, I have no inside info, just cheap speculation.
  6. Not bad for a one-armed builder! I'm glad you didn't let that temporary situation stop you. I once did a snap kit of a '57 Chevy after I had surgery for carpal tunnel, I still managed to add all the BMF it needed. I bet your boats are more difficult to do then my Chebby!
  7. Nuttin' in scale... but I have a Fotki album dedicated to them in 1:1... http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_longroofs_poss/ Plus, I'm sure I have more under the brand name file, I probably never copied it to my "longroof" album.
  8. Now that is something we don't see too often... completed!
  9. Jim, I think you could get away with using CA glue on painted PE parts. I always noticed that the fogging is a result of using too much CA. If a tiny drop was applied, I would think the 'fogging' would not crop up. Anybody else have comments?
  10. Interesting... nobody here knows how to make decals? I can do decals, but only dark colors over light surfaces. That is because I don't have an ALPS printer. Why not describe for us in more detail what it is you need, and I'll see if I can help.
  11. Actually, it reminds me of the SMP 3 'n 1 kits, with all those crazy "custom" parts. Kids would glue all that junk on, not because it looked good, but perhaps because 'it was there.' Wretched excess! Just like an old Roth or Barris creation.
  12. In part: I have a few pics of late-model topless Challengers... Here's one by West Coast Kustoms... I think the roadster is cool.
  13. Nice deuce!
  14. What's that? You're all madly in love with it? Well, in that case, here's a few more pics! Hey! At least it has a beer tap. Helps drown the pain. What a Freak Show!
  15. I'm working on the interior. I cannot for the life of me paint around the audio panel, or the climate panel, etc. The Charger Daytona has a body-colored panel these set in... I am trying to "build" this decal in Printmaster, as it is the only art program I have. Well, other than MS Paint, and I have no luck at that. The text and symbols are all wrong, but when I scale this down it won't be noticable. Do you think it will look OK when it's jammed down to about 3/8"?
  16. Sorry, I do not have a direct answer for you. But I bet if you were to Google "Masscar", you could get closer to your answer than you have so far. Good luck.
  17. HEY! Drive a Camaro? Get a free large pizza! Wednesday, August 26 only. Papa John's been looking for his '71 1/2 Z28 that he had to sell off long ago to start his pizza franchise, and he has been looking to buy it back ever since, with little luck. Until now. A reader on Jalopnik.com made the connection for Papa John, earning a $250,000 award. He wants to celebrate with a one day freebie for Camaro owners. I bet if you wear a mullet, he'll throw in a free side of breadsticks!
  18. Not gonna happen! Not with my Jeep anyway. AFAIK, all remote starters are wired for security. Step on the brake, move the shifter... it kills the ignition. I cannot speak for the el cheapo department store do-it-yourself variety.
  19. One of my favorite cars. You did it justice. BTW, that's definitely a metallic color, yes?
  20. I have a '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee... isn't that close enough? It's out there now... engine running... doors are open...
  21. Being from the States, I am not familiar w/ Humbrol sprays. I have seen the tins, but never any spray. Hopefully someone on your side of the planet can help you. Good luck!
  22. Tom- I do not know off hand if that show has been featured yet. Many shows take a long time to make it to a magazine. I presume they need to make sure they have 'content' for the entire year. I have seen contest coverage arrive in a magazine about the time I am going to the following year's show. If you don't hear or see any coverage in four months, ask again. Meantime, good luck!
  23. I bought a pair of the new issue '32 Ford 5-window, plus the new Revell 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8's. Wife cannot understand why I needed TWO '32 5-windows. "Why do you have 20 pair of shoes?" I'll be out in the doghouse tonight. Day before, I went to Michael's and bought some black embossing powder. Now I can do correct scale carpeting... at least in black.
  24. Dave- Thanks for giving us yet another option for a good quality clearcoat. That's why I like it here, the more info we get, the better. I have some 1:1 clears already by DuPont, but my disdain for my airbrush is a roadblock right now. I need a better airbrush.
