Found a nice detail photo of an Ardun flatty courtesy Hot Rod Magazine. I believe this engine is in one of Revell's Ford pickup kits. Just cannot recall the year.

In 2004, a local classic radio station acquired this military surplus HUMVEE, painted it, did some basic improvements, and had a $5000. audio system installed. I wanted to win that sooo bad! I did qualify, and we all drew a number on giveaway. The winning number was only two off from my number. Sooo close. Oh, and the winner? Some middle aged housewife type that looked like she didn't have a clue what it was.

I have always wanted the Uncertain-T kit. But no way would I pay the megabuck prices being asked. Besides, look at the T for what it is... a lot of (mostly) flat surfaces. I hope to scratch build a version someday. It wouldn't need to be 100% exact to please me. I have photos of the 1:1, and photos of the kit parts. The trick is to find a cowl, and forming the changing radius of the cabs rear vertical corners. Got to love the challenge, tho.

I agree with the above comment. Although I am not bothered by the banner ads, you must admit we are bombarded by ads in our daily lives. The newest, and by far the most ANNOYING (at least to me) has to be the gas stations now installing video advertising right into the gas pumps. Boy, I hate that! CITGO at least has a "mute" button. Cumberland Farms forces us to listen to that idiot Hasselhoff pretending to sing. No "mute" button, either. Also, I often read here a comment that goes something like "Ask Gregg". It's his board. Doesn't he ever read it? So by posting something here, isn't it reasonable to expect Gregg to see it? Just curious.

And yet, the 1:1 body and paint shops keep on sprayin'. There has to be a way. I just don't know if it is financially feasible. How much would a dehumidifier cost? Sears should have them. Also, the 1:1 cars are probably painted with two part catalyzed finishes. Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject could chime in here. I know it would most likely cost more. Seems like they may be resistant to airborne moisture.

If you read Spotlight long enough, eventually you may actually find something related to model cars. Although the irony of this post is in an off topic thread hasn't eluded me.
