  1. Graphically put! And a Merry Christmas to you as well!
  2. ...builder unknown ...by Tom Border ...by Marty Neyrinck
  3. I never been there. And judging by what I read, I'm not missing much.
  4. DO WANT!
  5. Here's some SAAB stories for ya: Aero X Concept Go to the Swedish Meatball Convention in style A little off the top, please. And if you can't afford a room at the Swedish Meatball Convention... SAAB is dead.
  6. Top of the windshield is at surface level. Didn't have enough dirt above windshield to break the glass, imho. Hope they fill in the hole with the body of whoever did this.
  7. Real nice build!
  8. Bizarre stuff! Is this from a kit? And what would it scale out to? Sounds like something up Doc Cranky's alley!
  9. By “General”, it means topics that are model car related… that do not fit in any other category. Not… cartoons, needlework, etc. If not a member of Facebook, maybe it is time to join? That would be a far more appropriate place to post O/T than here.
  10. I no longer need my '62 Thunderbird kits... the ultimate 'Bird has been built!
  11. Beautiful!
  12. Danno! Thanks! I never realized there was more than 'black'.
  13. This is a GREAT idea! Spin some positives. Of course, I want to first thank Gregg for having this message board. All that cost, the labor, the effort and the stress is appreciated! Also have to thank Harry, who does a fine job on keeping everything here shrink-wrapped and tidy. While I have never met you in person, you do come across as a real friend. There is many others here worthy of notice, but I don’t want to “use it all up” first time at bat, so to speak!
  14. The Manx is one of the few kits I can still remember having as a kid. As I recall, it was molded in yellow plastic like the boxart version. Gotta have one again!
  15. I agree w/ Chuck... I could live with the soft details. But not with the soft detail, and high price. Especially when their competition is beating them hands down with better detail, more accuracy, and lower price.
  16. I don't expect to see any of these on a clearance rack. As example, my local LHS will order this kit, but they won't bother to stock it otherwise, due to the cost. Even hobby shops need to draw the line somewhere.
  17. 1.- 1964 Corvair Rampside truck 2.- 1964 Corvair Spyder 3.- 1960 Cadillac Coupe De Ville 4.- 1948 Tucker Torpedo 5.- Cobra Daytona Coupe
  18. Bob Turner, you're an idiot. Go away. You now have 22 posts, and you have yet to contribute anything worthwhile but your viral hate and tripe. Time for Bob to be banned.
  19. Agree w/ Skip, this needs to be pinned.
  20. A few decades ago (yes I am old) when I owned my own welding setup, I was in the supply store having a tank refilled. There was a newspaper clipping under the glass on the countertop, showed a pic of a car blown to bits, much like the one in the op. The accompanying article said the bottle developed a slow leak, investigators believe the clock in the dash set it off. It doesn't take much.
