  1. Camo? I see cow. And I mean that with reverence and admiration!
  2. I built it. The most notable is the blunt attachment clip on the side of the sunroof. Why they molded it like that... I don't know. Second obvious is the oversized taillights. Plus I never could get the rear-view mirrors to fit, so I left them off. And the decals.. they are stickers. Difficult to get the roundel on the hood to lay flat... wish I had just ordered aftermarket decals. Anything else, I have forgetten.
  3. Remember the '72 Olds was first intro'd w/o an up-top, yet it appeared with one on the second issue? I wonder if something similar is going on here? How much in that test shot is not destined for the first issue?
  4. Nice job, Zoli !
  5. Seems the kit may have typical "Revell height" issue, needs to sit a tad lower. On another board, there is a builder by the name of Tom Miller, goes by the handle "bluemoose". His models made such an impression on me... real clean and a great shine. He also lowered most all his builds, and all had a nice stance. I hope to do likewise.
  6. Nice! Are the wheels the same?
  7. Last I heard, it was scheduled for a December release.
  8. Nice Scooby... Nice photos... Nice graphic layout... ...NICE!
  9. You know, it does seem to get easier to "let it slide" as we get older. Oh, I may get all wound up when something goes wrong, but then I will either go with plan B, or just walk away. I doubt I will ever mellow out 100%, but what I do experience, is less radical or intense.
  10. Wow! What a kewl paint job! Great airbrush work!
  11. I don't "Bay", so I am curious, these sellers that are trying to strike gold, do they have to pay a posting fee? Is it possible they get stuck with more fees each time they re-post? I have heard the term "FeeBay", just wondering how anyone makes a profit after fees.
  12. Hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving!
  13. It.... is the same tooling... as Revell's SWC kit, first issued (approx) ten years ago. The tooling is well recieved. Goes together great.
  14. 6 of one... 1/2 dozen of the other. I dunno. It sure looks real. Thus my vote... real.
  15. OMG. OMG. omg!!! My jaw fell off. My eye popped out. Impressed... would be an understatement!
  16. Not only that, but if you need to quote a post with four or five pics, you can always delete some of those photos from the quote, leaving only the one you actually need.
  17. Wicked! A Deals Wheels Willys!
  18. Chrysler becomes Fiat (and vice versa), so we will end up with... And Jeeps? The next Jeep will be... Except they won't even be a true 4x4. But on the good side, the gear box will use Marinara sauce for a lube.
  19. "So I'm just driving along in my van, when I see in the rear view mirrors a speedboat approaching at high speed! I was so startled, I slammed on the brakes! And that, officer, is how the boat got into my van."
  20. Scott, that is awesome!
  21. Real sharp! How did you get the white border on the text on the green background?
  22. Read his post again.
  23. Maybe the OP should post that they locked their own thread as a final post before doing so, as a common courtesy. Otherwise, we will likely assume the moderators did it.
