The weather has been so nasty I haven't gotten much done on the 37. I did get all the body parts prepped for painting and setting in the spray booth. Looks like Friday there is going to be some sunshine and temps up around 50°. I also got the wheels chromed and a base coat on the rotors plus I got the chassis finished.
Thinking of building my first Diorama on a low budget. All I'm looking to build is a speed shop front or something similar. Where do I need to look for wall decals or cheap shop kits? A link to a site would be nice fellows.
Lot of interesting responses. Now I know you ole boys remember these from back in the day. My grandmother used to keep the washer in the garage (no door and a rock & grass floor) covered up with a blanket. When it was wash day she would drag it out in the back yard where the cloths line was and start scrubbing and washing. she used to let me put the cloths in the wringer. I wasn't tall enough to hang the cloths up but I would hand her the wooden cloths pens.
Despite the issues you mentioned I think it came out pretty kewl looking. All the chrome trim work make the body color really stand out. The tool box, chest, and box in the bed is a nice touch.
