  1. Thanks for the info John. I have the hood in the drink. I'll try and airbrush it again and shoot for the same finish. Better said than done.
  2. Thanks Dave. I airbrushed this and it was a clear orange over bronze so I can't just touch it up. Not sure what I can do with this one.
  3. I appreciate it James. I've got my thinkin cap on for this one.
  4. I know Kyle. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point.
  5. Good looking 33 Coupe.
  6. Well fellows.....disaster struck on the paint job. I told myself a while back I wan't going to use bmf anymore and it bit me in the butt once again. I could not get it to stick and I was digging into the paint. I switched to masking off the trim with Tamiya masking tape and using a silver Sharpie. It bleed underneath the tape and since I have no clear on the paint I have no clue what will take it off and not harm the paint. I tried denatured alcohol and lacquer thinner under the hood but it took the paint off. Looks like this one is history for now fellows.
  7. The 33 Ford Coupe came out looking really nice John. That interior color sure looks nice with the body color. I just love this style of old cars. Great Work.
  8. I appreciate it Andrew. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the info Dave.
  10. Nice looking 36 Alan. Great paint job. Nice build.
  11. The 33 Coupe is looking pretty sharp there John.
  12. Haha....Farmtruck & AZN. These boys really know how to street hustle for a fast buck Coming along nicely. Great project.
  13. Thanks Dave. Well....now comes the big question, foil or not to foil. With all the issues I've had recently I'm a little leary about the foil anymore.
  14. Boy oh boy, that 32 glue bomb turned out really nice. Nice work on that Weaver Auto Crane. Great looking little wrecker. Fantastic job.
  15. Thanks Carl. Yup, looking to keep it more of a classic cruiser.
  16. Good looking little Hot Rod and Dragster.
  17. Thanks. Boy, its been a while and I had to go out in the garage and take a look. The front end is stock except for the wheels and tires. On the dual wheels on the back I had to shave a little off the chassis for the inner wheels to clear. The outer wheels are in the stock location. The wheels & tires are out of the parts box.
  18. Thanks Buddy. Much appreciated.
  19. I got the engine wired this morning and did a mock up to see how things are fitting. I ended up using the short block from the Buick engine that came in the kit. I found a dual carb setup with a low profile intake that fits and will allow me to close the hood. The 312 "Y" block and the 396 BB I test fitted were just to tall. I did not want to cut a hole in the hood. Still have some detail work to do on the engine and engine bay but things are looking good.
  20. That's going to be a pretty kewl little build. Nice start there Buddy.
  21. This should be a pretty kewl challenge RRR. I built this re-issed kit a few months back and boy was it a real challenge. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
  22. Thanks for the kind words there Buddy. The Tamiya Acrylic paint seems to work really well with the Mr. Color Leveling Thinner mixed 2:1.
  23. Thanks Dave. I think it came out pretty nice. Thanks. I appreciate the comments.
  24. Thanks man. I appreciate it.
  25. That is one fine looking pickup. Love that Hemi engine in the business end.
