  1. Couple questions.....did you prime the body before you shot the color on and was the body trim painted or is the bmf?
  2. Nice looking. Looks like the end result is a pretty darn looking match to the 1:1.
  3. Nice looking pair of GTO's. Both colors look great but I think I like the lighter color better. Nice detail work.
  4. Really good looking Hot Rod. I like the big ole meats in the ass end and the color looks killer.
  5. Great job. Nice and low, down in the weeds.
  6. Like Jim said on the molded black parts. The body, interior bucket, hood, ratdiator shroud are in white. So I guess since the molded black parts are in black it would be tough to get the white and black parts to come out looking the same if primed and painted all one color?
  7. Yup, fenders are in black.
  8. That looks pretty kewl. I think I see Gilligan and the skipper. I also spotted the kitchen sink. Nice job.
  9. Good looking Vette.
  10. I got everything polished out. Came out pretty good. Busy weekend so it my be Monday before I start on the assembly.
  11. Just opened the box. Not much flash vs some AMT kits I've had. The white letter tires look awesome. Body fits the running board/fender assembly nicely. Not much to the instructions. Trying now to think of what color. 2 tone or one color with a black top.
  12. That is Uber nice Dave. Love the wheels. Nice detail work. Foil looks great.
  13. Thanks for the info Dave.
  14. I like those artillery wheels. What kit did those come out of?
  15. Yeah that looks Gangster. Nice.
  16. I think its just a one time thing. There display was in the middle of the isle. Nothing in their toy section.
  17. Nice looking Jag.
  18. I've seen the die cast models of the 1948 Tucker Torpedo created by Preston Tucker but was there ever a plastic model produced? I just thought it was a car ahead of it's time like the Studebaker Avanti was.
  19. Picked this up yesterday at Wally World and think it will be my next build. I'm kinda parcel to the Fat Fender cars & trucks so this one caught my eye really quick. I don't think I've seen this one posted here since I've been a member. Never had an MPC kit before so if you have built this model I'm looking for the pro's and con's and pics.
  20. Nice. All shiny like a new penny.
  21. Kewl looking Vette. I like the wheels and tires.
  22. Thanks Carl and Dave. Yeah.....I'm due for some good luck. I do think I finally came up with a painting process that's repeatable and looks good. It only took me 6 months ☺
  23. I'd have to agree with just buying new blades as cheap as they are. Amazon.com: DIYSELF 200 PCS Hobby Knife Blades, High Carbon Steel #11 Refill Craft Art Blades Cutting Tool with Storage Case for Craft, Hobby, Scrapbooking, Stencil : Everything Else
  24. Good looking Charger.
