  1. To me, the wheels look better moved back.
  2. I thought I might try some simulated carpet for the flooring. I'm headed to HL this morning so do they sell anything that could be used and if so, what is it called?
  3. Yeah....I think we've all been there before KK. Purple pond?
  4. I've been thinking about the color for my 34 so I wanted to throw this by you fella's to see whatya think. I painted a 56 Ford pickup with this Anita's Tangerine color and thought it looked pretty kewl. I still have some of the Tangerine paint and was thinking a white interior ( Wimbledon White ) would look kewl. I'd like the Tangerine to be a little darker so what color would a fella mix with it to get it a little darker like the pic/
  5. Haha....glad you ask. The windsheild and visor are one piece and sturdy. It fits like a glove.
  6. Nicely done. Great looking weathering. Pics looks pretty kewl.
  7. Nice looking 65 Mustang. Colors look great. Wife wants a 65 (1:1) when she retires next year. Always liston to your elders ☺
  8. Thanks James, I appreciate it.

  15. Well I'm glad my post are doing someone some good.
  16. Really nice. The photos look pretty real. Great job. I just picked one of these kits up at Wal-Mart when they had their model display set up a few weeks ago.
  17. It all looks good to me fella's. Shinny paint ?
  18. Thanks Steve and Carl. I need to let the paint cure for 24 hrs the clear coat, wet sand, and polish.
  19. Well KK.....you worked long and hard at producing a nice model so I think you could do the same with a WIP don't ya think. I for one would like to see your builds in progress. I'm not very good at it but I do like other fella's to see what I'm up to on the work bench.
  20. Ok fella's, dodged a bullet on this one. I let the acrylic paint dry for about 45 min then I went of it with 2000 grit, cleaned it off, airbrushed a little darker color. It's still a little wet. Once it cures out it will look fine. I like it.
  21. Didn't see it in the primer so I'm assuming it's the paint. Looks like lepros ☺
  22. Ok....the humidity got down below 70% so I got the airbrush out. Started with the fenders and shot some Anita's Burgundy and it came out great. After cleaning out the airbrush I started painting the body parts and after a second coat I knew something wasn't right. The paint looked spotty so I stopped. I used the same process and all parts had the same primer. I ditched Anita's Vanilla Cream paint. I have another color that's a little darker so I'll give that a shot.
  23. That green looks pretty kewl KK. I don't think I saw a thread on your 34?
  24. I'm doing a little airbrushing so thought I would go ahead and get the 34 in primer. I love the details on the hood.
  25. That looks super clean Craig. Those added strips for the vinyl roof look nice. The wheels set it off nicely and the paint is killer.
