Yes it is the Academy/Minicraft kit basically as The IDF never used the flat fendered A1 they used A2's I took all of the IDF equip., wheels and tires and transfered them to the A2 variant for a more accurate version.

From about the early to mid 80's they used Austrailian Clevelands til about 88 when they ran out and started using the 385 horse Windsor crate motors then in 90 or 91 they went to a 302ci
Very nice build Gregg, I have one on back order @ my LHS hopefully it will be here soon! It doesn't look like it will be that easy to add an engine assembly but maybe one of our illustrious/industrious aftermarket folks will help out!!

It ought to be interesting with Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles and other noted Shelby drivers and crew back together again. This should give a new meaning when we here thunder in the skies above!!
One word to help through tough modelling situations!!.............. Scotch!! and if drinking it doesn't help then pour a little over the model and torch it!! outside of course prefferably in a safe place!
