  1. Mindful destruction is cool though.
  2. I also would like several Checkers. Wouldn't mind a Tucker either.
  3. I've been wanting to build one so that I can firecracker it. Because it's been a while.
  4. I think it's due for new pads.
  5. I have a 1982 AMT, so I have something in the right scale. It also has a ton of extra parts. Different noses and hoods.
  6. I have a Revell Camaro, I'm not sure if it's the same one. I also have the trailer. I guess I'm halfway there. I think the box set is cool, but I see your point. High cost and limited market makes it less feasible. The Camaro I have is stock, and was sold at Walmart under the Motorworks series.
  7. It would be nice if they would reissue things like this. Now that I'm an adult with money.
  8. I like to put a piece of bare metal foil behind the stem to hide the hole.
  9. Are these them? Four regular, two snow. From the Chevy rescue van.
  10. Thanks for the info.
  11. I was looking to do it with easy to find parts. I don't mind playing with the nose, I've already worked on the terrible '72 nose so I have some practice, but the hood looks like it would need more than I might be able to fix.
  12. Pictures might help. Everyone likes pictures.
  13. How far from stock is the nose and hood? I have some 72s and would like to make one a 70. I see I would at least have to open up the headlights and probably make grilles. The hood looks funny to me.
  14. We are seeing the same ads right? Just now, amazing inventions:
  15. Lol, amazing inventions. That one is on my screen right now.
  16. I didn't think about it enough before I decided to open my mouth. I remembered my '87 had the 4 speed overdrive which was used only a few years so they were hard to find. '88 was the first year for the M5OD 5 speed overdrive which is what I swapped in mine.
  17. It's a stick. Edit. You're probably referring to it not being available in '81.
  18. While it was probably done on purpose, that just looks like a broken fender emblem to me.
  19. I thought it was hilarious. I hope my soul is okay...
  20. I like it, but I would like it more with stock hood grille and bumpers.
  21. A little yellow food coloring to "weather" it.
  22. That's really cool. A lot of parts for such a small truck.
