    Thanks everyone for posting what you have been finding. I had pretty much given up but decided to check again because of what has been said. Maybe some places get certain ones at certain times, maybe it's to keep you coming back, but there were different kits today. I got the three Volkswagens and two Gremlins I wanted. Maybe they will get different ones in a few weeks and I can get the last two I want.

    That's funny. I just pulled mine out and it's labeled 1995. I have an unused "new" sheet labeled 1999 also.

    The MPC didn't look right to me either until I figured out it's because I'm used to seeing the half top and it's a full top. The sunroof and light holes didn't help either. I filled the roof holes on mine but now I want to cut the front off where the half top starts and put on most of the cab from the Deserter.

    That's the name of the store, FYE. But it stands for "for your entertainment".

    Not much of a selection at the Michael's around here either. I'm waiting for the 40% off at Hobby Lobby to pick up the Louisville dump truck they just got in.

    I went to an Ollie's but there were no automotive models. It's next to a mall that my daughter wanted to go to and I found this at an FYE so I picked it up.

    That reminds me of the '56 I never finished. It has pretend airbags.

    There's also a Revell shorty van. I shaved off the molded in wheel flares. I think I used my own rims and tires.

    I tried out my new files. Cleaned this up a bit and removed the hood pins.

    I'm not sure if you noticed, but you have the grill upside down on the truck. Or is that really how that year grill is supposed to be?

    No problem. It's kinda hard to tell in the pics but it's a sparkly metallic green.
