  1. I've had this set of needle files for several years, got them to work on my handguns. Use them to clean up parts and also the handle is great for holding and using my carbide mini bits. Made by General Tools.
  2. Looks great. Really nice weathering.
  3. Beautiful Chevelle. Nice work.
  4. Nice. Color is great.
  5. Nice build. Don't think I've ever seen that kit.
  6. Thanks Mike. My wife is going to have a knee replacement done in a couple of months so I'm gonna try and get a few done before then. Once she has it done and gets home she's going to need my full attention for several weeks so there will be no kit building then.
  7. Thanks David. I used a 2mm Molotow pen. Seems to work well. I got the 1mm also, been using it to highlight interior and other small detail.
  8. Started on this one. Building the drag version, OOB build with some engine wiring. Testor's Yellow Enamel, Revive It Gloss. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  9. Fine looking gasser Bob. Nice work.
  10. Been checking prices of some MCW, Dupli-color and others and I think I'll just use my Testors orange. I've got Testors Orange Enamel and Acrylic, I think either one will be ok.
  11. For some reason my Paasche H has stopped working. It blows only air, will not suction up the paint. It will not even spray water. I have cleaned it over several times, there is no blockage. I have tried different bottles and cups, no go. Hole in bottle top is clear. I can't figure it out. It should spray but it does not. Last time I used it was a couple of weeks ago spraying some Testors enamel, cleaned it good before putting it away.
  12. Looking good Bob. I'm looking to get this kit soon.
  13. Thanks guys. I'm not a perfectionist, so anything close will work. I'm working on a 69 Nova 350 right now but want something I can use for most of the Chevy engines.
  14. Does anyone make a Chevy engine orange paint? I know Testors use to, but can't find it anymore. I can find it in the Dupli-color engine paint brand at the auto parts store, can that be used on styrene plastic?
  15. Well heck, sorry, didn't see it was already posted.
  16. Apparently HL is clearing out some of their model kits. I was in Tallahassee this morning and stopped in there, got a couple of kits that were regular 29.99 for the clearance price of 7.50.
  17. Thanks David. Thank you. Thanks. Thanks Bob.
  18. Painted with Tamiya Park Green Acrylic and generic white gloss. OOB except for tires and wheels, wired engine. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  19. Thanks. Already finished with this one, but I will keep those tips in mind for the next one.
  20. Slowly getting there.............
  21. Thanks all. No hurry, so I'll keep waiting. Was just wondering.
