  1. Thanks much. I see what you saying, I'll see if I can split them.
  2. Engine is ready. I had been buying pre-wired distributors for my engines, but decided to try wiring the kit one this time. Turned out ok.
  3. It's looking great Bob. You have inspired me to try a Pro Street mod on a 66 Chevy Fleetside I just got from HL. I will probably ruin a perfectly good kit, but what the heck.
  4. Worked on the trim. I used foil on the bottom trim and it worked out ok. But when I tried it on the windows it would not stick. So I gave up and used a silver sharpie, but with my shaky hands I didn't do a very good job.
  5. Thanks. Thanks Thanks. I've had it in my stash for a while now. Been avoiding it because of the trim work, but I'm going to give the foil another try. Thank you.
  6. I liked the Createx Blue Pearl that I put on the 34 Ford hot rod so much I decided to put it on a 69 Camaro Z28.
  7. My first time deviating from a OOB build. Didn't know how this contraption was going to turn out. I guess it's ok, but I know it was fun. I widened the rear axle housing to get the wide tires on without them rubbing the bed, I cut the metal axle in half using it on each side. Wheels will not roll, but that's ok by me. The instructions alluded to a drag version that's similiar, but I wanted a street rod so went with the wide street tires from the 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit. I had to do some building up on the inside wheels to make them fit. I did use the custom engine from the kit, just dechromed the block and intake. I had to make a rod for the front to mount the radiator, this caused it to be too far forward for the hood to work, which I was going to use the top part of the hood without the sides but I am ok like it is. All comments welcome.
  8. The closest hobby shop to me is 70 miles away. Wish I had one local. Hobby Lobby is 35 miles away, but that's where I get most of my stuff. I have ordered some stuff from ebay.
  9. MegaHobby has it in stock. https://www.megahobby.com/products/1951-henry-j-gasser-drag-car-1-25-revell.html?utm_source=scalemates&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=marketplace
  10. Thanks Bob. It may not come out looking too good, but it's fun doing these mods.
  11. Looking forward to seeing your pro street Ford truck Bob. Just the little modding I'm doing on the 34 Ford pickup has got me itching to try more. It is fun. I'm following your build and it's already gave me ideas on doing a pro street mod on a 65 Chevy stepside.
  12. Now to figure out how to mount the radiator and some headlights on this contraption...........
  13. Looking good. Nice work. I built this kit a couple months ago, it's a nice kit.
