@Koellefornia Kidmy friend. Thank you. It's so much fun to create these imaginary vehicles, that we would love to drive on the street. So much talent here on the forum. I really enjoy seeing so many pieces of rolling art, draped in beautiful colors. -
@iSewen WOW...and what everyone else said. Beautifully detailed. Cleanly built. Crisp in it's presentation. Foil work is beyond perfection, and the colors are GORGEOUS.....BRAVO!!

Thank you @Dennis Lacy The ol' girl was a "Hoot" to build, as I thought about all those cars from my past, at the car shows almost 70 years ?ago. Yeah, I'm a "Dinosaur in the hobby. Did I really say that....YIKES?. -

Thank you @Claude Thibodeau. I built this as a kind of "Tribute car" to the 50's style of car building, and a tribute to my 2 older friends who kind of adopted me and mentored me, through my teenage high school school years, as I didn't get along with my dad. Great guys that I still think of often, many, many decades later. -
I love all the custom front and rear pieces, and all the chrome custom pieces, that come in the kit that we never use. I grew up going to the early custom car shows, when Car Craft Magazine was little. I've' never built anything like this before, just using what was in the box, but just one piece slipped in from the 1959 Cadillac box... The rear bumper, that was narrowed...carefully?. The interior I had a blast with, I searched the internet for an upholstery pattern that would be just right. I printed them out on decal paper, and assembled the interior. Maybe no one else likes it, but I love it Hood got hinged, and the engine got warmed over...nothing fancy. Out of the box again..accept that rear bumper.

@TooOld Bob, Bob, Bob...the color is just GORGEOUS!!! This will be a stunner when it's done. Gotta go get mine out, and just drool a bit .
-
@caapa What a fantastically clean build !! Beautiful !! You have great building skills and talent !! Opening doors and hood, and an added engine, and it looks like it came out of the box like that. Execution is spot-on ...BRAVO!!

@Peter Lombardo My old friend from more than a dozen years ago. Different screen name, but I'm back. Do you still post projects. I have missed seeing your work. You were one of my favorite builders many, many years ago.

Thank you @Dominik It sits in its case close by in my model building man-cave, so I can enjoy it.

This is a Ford F-150 Lightening, Ferrari Modena dually, rear engine pickup. !2 cylinders will be below the bed. I call it an F (Ford and Ferrari)150 Modena Lightening. I like that! Doors and hood will be able to open and the body will be a "Spider" with very low windshield - SOMEDAY!

Thank you @Claude Thibodeau. I love this hobby, and have for more years than I care to admit to . How blessed to enjoy something we're all so passionate about. Can't believe after all these years, we're all still pretty good at it ?.

Hi @Scott Colmer Thank you. I remember many of yours like it was yesterday. Yours were some of my all-time favorites.

@Oldcarfan27 Glad I held up too .

@TooOld Your so ight. I like the '59 for it's sheer, in your face, gargantuousness!! But the '61 and '62 have what I like to call "styling panache". There are so many different elegant styling que's that keep your eye's moving around the car, to see all the genius that was cleverly used to bring such a beautiful piece of art to it's final stages. -

@Lowlife ! ! Shhhhh!! I'm undercover. That's supposed to be a seekwut ?.

That's really cool. It took me a moment to figure out what you did. Very subtle and well executed. I like the conversion and the look of it. Your pretty sneeky ?.

LOL There's a time when most of us have our 15 minutes of fame, and then over time we are forgotten about. I didn't mind being forgotten about, as I was enjoying the hobby, in my own quiet way, and no one was being difficult as they were many haters years ago, and hated it if you were any good at any thing when the forum began. I loved the 20's and 30's cars back then, and here are just a few of what I loved at the time. I was a bit of a scratch- builder for a while, so some of these are one of a kind builds. I included a few other models that I thought you might enjoy. Some done and some on the way. This is a really nicer place now to show models and make friends. Much better now ?.I like it here.

I love this '62 body style and the bubble top also. Your colors are beautiful and the detail work is over the top, and your engine work, one of the best I've seen My engine work needs to get better. Love your car and you should be very proud of it.
