I believe scalefinishes has its own section for salvinos paints.

Alclads aqua gloss would work fine, but it’ll dull the finish like all clear coats will.

There’s a site I order cologne from that’s similar to this. Even though hobbylinc will say if something is truly out of stock this site doesn’t. So after an order is done if something is out of stock they refund that part, and ship the rest. I mostly order paint, bottles, glue, etc from hobbylinc so never had the out of stock issue. You’re right though it isn’t a great system as it’s more a first come first serve in my opinion. So whatever you ordered that was out of stock others must’ve of got it first before your order got pulled.

Well this was at 110F baking for a hour. Probably just gonna stick with 2K for the bodies, and use the 1K for wheels etc that need a good gloss. Might try another test sometime, and let it bake longer.

So I was testing out some new 1K I got, and after all said and done it’s really soft. I mean it sands, compounds, and polishes good, but it take’s fingerprints easily. I tried using cleaner wax that I use on 2K, but it still leaves finger prints. Is that just the nature of 1K?

Never had that happen. Must happen with certain things, and first come first serve type of situation. Everything I always ordered got shipped out after 4-5 days, and got delivered in 2-3 days. Totally understand why you’re frustrated bout it though.

I’m pretty sure decanting it will work the same as decanting any other paint. Might have to thin it a little, but there’s plenty of 1K airbrush ready paints you can buy without decanting.

Depends on the kit if it’s even gonna fit where it’s suppose to fit anyways. If it can fit like it’s suppose to I’ll try my best with proper tweezers to get it in or if it can’t be seen from top or bottom eh screw it.

Yeah hobbylinc is legit. It does take a few days for them to start pulling stuff from the warehouse. I have an order coming in tomorrow from them as well. Scalehobbyist, Sprubrothers, megahobby, modelroundup, Burbank house of hobbies, hiroboy, plazajapan few places I shop from other than hobbylinc.

So went back out of town too Ollie’s, and checked hobby lobby. Got another truck and picked up the coke truck. Found the rover hidden in a buggy at hobby lobby. Also went to hobby town, and they had the rat fink transtar. He wanted $78 for it, and I’m like yeah this dude is nuts. Can buy it $50 from Amazon all day, and $40 from hobbylinc.

Yeah don’t really think he came up with the hinge idea on his own. Sure makes himself seems like he did with that ego.

Went to Ollie’s out of town, and found all this. They had every kit except the mail truck, but already got it. $5 for the puzzles that comes with the poster too.

That’s true. Store here in rockingham NC has MPC monopoly kits mixed in with the board games lol.

Got a spare .2 needle my PS-270, and replacement needle packing (don’t ask lol). Also got some fire scale products 2 interior colors, 1 car color, 1K i wanted to try out, and black glass film.

Mine still doesn’t have the transtar truck, but same everything else. Gotta go out of town Tuesday so I’ll check the Ollie’s there.

Got the rims done, but just took pics of one showing how different lighting makes a difference.

Yeah he’s a good modeler. I’ve watched his videos few times, and I have that kit myself.
