While cleaning out the model cupboard, I came across a number of cars I had started and never got back to. Time to finish them or chuck'em...! I know I must started this Volvo Wagon from Tamiya at least 20 years ago. No idea where my head was at, but I threw in a Fujumi accessory kit in as well. This car was so close to being done, I had to finish it. Posting it for your enjoyment, then it will grace the pages of eBay. Thanx for looking'

AMT Ferrari 250 GT SWB - Updated 09-09
curt raitz replied to Bernard Kron's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Hey Buddy I know you have threatened to build a Ferrari for sometime. Good to see you are following through. This is not a bad kit to start with...the Fujumi 250 Testarosa is an excellent kit, but I agree on doing the SWB first. Gonna have fun watching ya build a couple of Ferraris. c'ya -

Beautiful model Dann. I built one about 20 years ago, excellent kit. Just picked up one at The Desert Scale Classic Model Contest in April. You've inspired me to crack the box open and give it a go...

I've just finished a few models which have been on the bench awaiting completion. This is one of them. The 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Hardtop from Trumpeter. The only modification I did was replace the "skinny" wheels/tires with some out of the "parts box". I wanted a nice burgundy color, ended up mixing up my own with a few Tamiya aerosol paints. Then covered it with Tamiya's PS-58 Clear Pearl. Thanx for looking'...

I haven't built a bike in awhile. I've always liked "cafe" versions of a motorbike, so decided to slightly modify Tamiya's Honda CB750F into a "Cafe Racer". So I dropped the bars, shortened the seat, changed the chain/gears, bobbed the front fender and replaced the stock air cleaner box with individual ones. Thanx for looking'...

Thanx buddy, Yep Fernado Pinto from Portugal.

This model has been in the cupboard crying out "to be built" every time I opened it. Started out with Scalefinishes Aston Martin Almond Green, but found it to be darker than I wanted. So I mixed it with a few of his paints until I came up with a color I liked. Did not care for the kit wheels and white wall tires, so I picked up some nice wheels/tires from FPP. thanx for looking'...

6-cyl for '65 Econoline - AMT or Jo-Han?
curt raitz replied to ChrisBcritter's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have Norm's (Replicas&Miniatures) Ford Inline 6 cylinder. I will take photos of them and post them here for you. I'm building a replica of the '64 Ford Econoline I owned. -
Picked up the Revel/Model King '51 Anglia from my friend Raul Perez. Raul had used the small block on a previous build and left me with a big block Ford to complete this model. Paint is Ford Regency Purple from Scalefinishes. Decals are are combination of Slixx and Custom made.

Nice diorama Kurt Wayne Carinni would "wet himself" if he stumbled on this in full scale!

This is a 1/20th scale resin model of the Toleman TG183B produced by ClubM. I built the car to represent the car as it was raced by Ayrton Senna during the 1984 Grand Prix Season. This car was Ayrton's first F1 ride. He drove this car in the first three races and DNQ'ed on the fourth race. The TG183 was replaced by the TG184 for the 5th race. This is a fairly old kit and a few of the resin parts were "warped"...tried to get them straight. Paint is MM Classic White, Tamiya TS-15 Blue and Humbrol Italian Red #220. thanx for lookin'

This is another build of a Curtis Turner race car. I decided awhile back to build models of cars Curtis Turner raced. No other reason than the fact he has a cool first name I can relate to. I think this is the 4th or 5th Curtis Turner model I've built. This a model of the 1956 Ford he raced during the 1956 NASCAR Season. He started 13 races, winning at Darlington and 4 more races with top 10 finishes. Paint is MM Classic White and ScaleFinishes Ford M Regency Purple. Decals are from Gofer Racing. Thanx for lookin'

Another Mexican Road Racer...this will be my 4th model of a car which raced in the Carrera Panamericana. This is the Ferrari 340/375MM Spider Phil Hill and Richie Ginther drove in the 1954 Carrara Panamericana. They finished second in their class. It is a 1/24th scale resin model produced by FPP Modelos.

Hey Buddy, the wheels are fantastic...'bout time you addressed your wire wheels properly. They do get more challenging as you reduce the scale! Anyways the bike is looking' great and looking forward to seeing it in Salt Lake...cuz I know you will have it done by then. dang...you probably have it done already
