  1. I did, but couldn't justify dropping $40 - $50 bucks on a "donor kit". The Matchbox Porsche Speedster parts are not bad...not the quality of the Fujimi 356, but can be made to work thanx

  6. Len I used Model Masters Prowler Purple 2 part lacquer rattle can followed with Model Master Ultra Gloss Clearcoat Johnston from Scalefinishes thought it to be a perfect match... thanx Curt

  8. Take a Monogram '59 Chevrolet Corvette #2379, Model Masters Prowler Purple paint, a set of Fred Cady decals and a few modifications...this is what you come up with. A model of the 1959 Purple People Eater MK III Corvette Jim Jeffords raced in 1959. He won every SCCA B-Production race he entered that year except the last one. more photos in next post...
  9. Say it ain't so John...decals are easy but when you can hand paint the graphics as well as you did - who needs decals great job and enjoyed talkin' to ya at the NNL West
  10. who is manufacturer of this kit? really nice casting detail on the engine, etc may have to get back into 1/43rd scale nice lookin model so far

  14. Our club recently staged a contest..."build a model of a car from a movie and/or TV show" contest. This was my entry...didn't win "jack", but it was fun to build a really ugly car Here ya go...
  15. Class of 2011 heh, buddy great job, was great to see it at the NNL West Bernard wants me to build a bigger salt flat/lake racer diorama base for next year... so we can display your Lincoln V-12 with ours, hee-hee!
