  1. I tried. There was not much to go on as it changed from time to time. I could not figure out the color at the time of the movie filming, so I went off a number of different pics to come up with what I thought it might look like with the bench intact.
  2. That is great. I had no idea he was making them now. I will have to check them out.
  3. As far as I know Canuck3D's grills are for the AMT truck. It is a bit narrower than the Revell version. I did a comparison and noted the size difference a couple months back.
  4. A Few Sprues Loose on Ebay is now offering different grills for the new Revell K5 Blazer, both Chevy, and GMC. I will be ordering a couple. Chevy Blazer GMC Jimmy C/K Square Body 1981-91 Grilles for 1:25 Revell Model Kit | eBay
  5. Great build. Having owned a couple Victory Red trucks, I would say the hood is spot on.
  6. I agree amber is the best way to identify a turn, but I think we are over thinking this. Red, amber, blue, green. If the light is flashing, something is happening, and you should be aware. Twice I have had a left directional on. One with an amber turn signal, the other with red. in both these cases as I turned left, the driver behind me tried to pass me on the left. Both times I was sent into a brick sign base, and a rock wall. The color of the light means nothing if the idiot behind you is not paying attention. Work on replacing idiots with normal people.
  7. Great build. It looks so real. When you said Odd Jobs, I naturally thought of this guy from Gold Finger.
  8. Outstanding. The build was fun to watch for sure.
  9. Outstanding. I had to take a double take on the Tasca dealer emblem on the back. Great detail.
  10. Great looking Mopar. I like the blue tint on the upper windshield.
  11. Great build. I love Studebaker cars like the Avanti, and Starliner. Way ahead of their times. Great color choices.
  12. Arrived today. After exhausting all avenues to find this in Styrene, resin or 3D I broke down and spent way too much money on what seems to be the last black diecast Dodge Omni GLH on the planet. I want to take it out of the package to display it, but it is sealed, and I cannot bring myself to do so........ Yet. If I open it, and couple things that would need to be addressed is tires. The tires are way too big, and the wheels need more shine. Also, I noticed the hood has no intercooler vent.
  13. Agreed. The 83-86, and 87-88 T-Birds, Cougar, and 83-92 Mark 7 were some of the best-looking cars to come out of Detroit. The fact that most Performance parts from the Mustang was a direct bolt on was a plus.
  14. I followed the build of this car, and it is incredible what you have done with it.
  15. In previous years, I build 2 to 5 models all year. Now that I have devoted room to the hobby, I have built 7 so far. Other than my poor eyesight, shaky hands, I feel like a kid again. In all fairness, the Gold G-van, Racer's Wedge, and 57 chevy have been painted for a few years. The van was 60% done, and the Chrystler Atlantic was a snap kit. I do like to have a paint fest every so often. I will paint 2-6 bodies at a time, and once they cure, they get wrapped and placed back in the box for future builds. It makes it nice because I am not waiting for bodies to dry.
  16. Sweet Cadillac. I love GM D-Bodies.
  17. Great collection of 58-70 B-bodies.
  18. I have always wanted to build this car after seeing the movie. It took a few decades to say the least. I think I started actually building it about 3 years ago. The paint is at least 2 years old. I used Testors Yellow enamel, with two coats of Testors Xtream lacquer Wet look clear. The engine is a BBC, pieced together from a couple different kits. I kept the hood for just like Popular Hot Rodding did.
  19. Great looking truck. I did the same thing to build a military M880 Dodge truck, and the Mopar muscle truck from Roadkill garage.
  20. I remember having built the Motorcraft IMSA Mustang that I was way out of my league. Yours came out better than mine
  21. The lower front valance is a fairly flat piece on the 510s. You can probably make the piece out of sheet styrene if you can't find one.
