Having put more effort in the peterbuilt which was more important to me. I was less thorough with the valiant so it's not as good as the truck but I still wanted to do it so it would complete the duo. The revell kit dodge dart Gts as a base was used and the AMT duster 71 provided the front end and the interior. The front grille came from Harts parts. The hub caps were machined to reflect the ones in the movie, far from perfect but I could not find anything close. Although not accurate by purist standards, it does fit nicely alongside the truck (the truck is posted in the big rig section if you're interested). I know they used more than 1 car for the movie and they used both the 318 and the slant six. I used the slant six but I did not detailed the engine bay, just basic engine so I left the hood shut. But in the end I enjoyed building it, it came out ok, for me at least. I might still build a more accurate version if I get out of things to do (won't be for a while though). I have included a few pictures of the build. thanks for looking.

One of the best kit out there and my all time favorite COE. You did it great justice. -

Awesome work . So nice and clean, and well photographed. ? -
This kit can be challenging, I lost my temper a few times when I built mine. But you did a great job and it turned out really great. Nice color choice BTW.

Gorgeous shelby and the blue fits it so nice.

Nice olds, I like the dark color with the discrete yellow stripe accent.

Great looking bunch.

That engine bay is delicious to look at. And what a beautiful choice of color. The charger is a worthy recipient of the turbine car bronze color.

Nice deuce, The red windows adds to the mean looking little beast.

I wanted to take a break from two projects I'm working on . I needed a quick build, the AMT t-bird was sitting on the shelve for a while so I looked into the box. Simple, low part count. So there it is as simple as it gets. Tamiya coral blue and pure white for the top. Not my greatest build but I needed the break. I don't know how it compares to the monogram/revell kit though. thanks for looking.

Great looking GTX, the color reminds me of a neighbor that had a Duster with the same type of green. Unfortunately , it got t-boned 1 week after she bought it brand new.

Great looking build. ?

Great model, it brought back a lot of good memories coming back from school and watching the show. Always wondered if someone took to build a 1:1 replica.
