Thanks Thomas Thanks James Thanks Bruce Thanks Lee Thanks Harry Thanks Emre Thanks Glen thanks John. Depending on the finish and texture you want, the base coat is very important, for all metallic shades I used black, for polished finish the shinier the base the shinier the shade. For this model I used the Alclad gloss black base coat, the spray tamiya gloss black works great too. For the metallic I used chrome and airbrushed several mist coats at 15-20 PSI. I did not clear coated as it changes the shade. It dries hard enough to manipulated. Thanks David

A nice kit from Italeri. One thing about those kit, they build up quite nicely. I tried to replicate the car on the box art to represent the " star of India ". after a quick search on google , I realized that the box art color was too yellow. The real car is more brownish, I am satisfied with the results, of course never 100 % but close enough for me. The chrome was done with Alclad and has a nice shine in the sun. As always, thanks for taking the time to look.

Nice and clean build. Saw a lot of these growing up. -
That's a beautiful trio Helmut. My preferred decade for styling. Your color choices are on par for the era.

Really cool movie cars, saw this movie in a drive in back then. Great paint job. -
A wolf in sheep's clothing. I like the plain Jane look without the hub caps.

A real good looking bad boy. The black grille looks mean. Nice details underneath.

That made me smile, A testament to imagination and creativity. I like it. -
Despite their flaws, Jo han kits are sorely missed, at least by me. They had a lot of really interesting subjects that no other model company offered. And their bodies were close to perfect. When I see a Jo-han kit built so nicely, it brings a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing this.

This is awesome, to bring a kit to that level takes dedication and talent you certainly have both. The paint job is flawless and further enhanced by a perfect photography. ?? -
