  1. I also remember somebody getting me the Visible Man, Creature from the black lagoon and mummy glow in the dark kit. I guess they were hoping I would become a doctor, an archeologist, or a marine biologist or something. ?
  2. That was a great show. I still catch on Me TV also. It beats the hell out of the Kardashians or whatever BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH they got going now.
  3. I also use Model Roundup and MegaHobby.com. As well as eBay. We used to have like 4 good ma and pa shops around here, but (sadly) they are all gone now.
  4. Just got back from mine. The cashier told me she knew nothing about any 75% blowout. So, I guess it's regional thing. ?????
  5. Hit the local Hobby Lobby for the bi-weekly 40% off model kit sale. Picked up 2 more Revell '68 bugs, another T/A kit and a bunch of paint and sprue cutter. I'm working with Texas 4D customs on the Baja bug project, so stay tuned. So far, I have the suspension raised. Then, over to Walmart for this Spice rack that will work nicely for all My little Testors paint bottles. When I got home, this '69 Firebird kit from eBay, the Chevy van grill from modlblr, and a money order from jerseyjerry. I sent him a '68 Camaro body and the shipping was only like $5 so I told him, don't worry about it. He sent me $12. Thanks Jerry and Tom. PS. Tom. I have the 442 chrome you need. I'll send you a PM.
  6. I'm not sure what scale the 442 is, but it is a Muscle Machine. The Judge is 1/25. Both are pre - painted, so I didn't have a chance to screw the paintjobs up. I did detail the wheels up and stuff like that.
  7. Velvet Underground - Live
  8. Grifters - Ain't My Lookout.
  9. Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic - Afghan Whigs. Police cover.
  10. The very first was the Revell Thames panel. The AMT Boondocker blazer won me a 3rd place trophy at a local hobby shop contest. I never did finish the Monogram big T. Gave it away to somebody. Numerous kits in between.
  11. That '58 White brings back memories. We had one like that sitting behind the shop when I was growing up. May have well been older. It had a wooden overhead console (all rotted out) and according to my dad, it was gas powered. It never ran in my lifetime.
  12. I hung onto a few things after I sold my GTO. Luckily, this paint still sprayed. Even the plastic top faded into some tanish color. ???
  13. I cut the transmissions away from their engine blocks with this miter box. Now I glued the Muncie 4 speed onto the Poncho engine. Ready for paint.
  14. Hoodoo Gurus - Live at the Ritz
  15. Buffalo Tom - Smitten
  16. Magic Bus - Swervedriver. Who cover.
  17. Jackman style wheels with some off road big and little tires for the upcoming Baja bug Texas 3D customs and I are working on.
  18. Well, I checked the weekly ad again today. Still 50% off Chrismas stuff. No mention of any model kit blowout. I'm going over Monday. I'll let you all know if anything changes.
  19. I use that Rust-oleum chrome look spray. It doesn't look like chrome, but I would say it looks like more like polished aluminum at a fraction of the cost.
  20. Got my fingers crossed all 4 of mine are okay. ?
  21. Thanks Dennis!
  22. rssschris. Thanks Chris, for the Ram Air pan!
  23. That was a funny one. Filled with quotes.
