Oops, thanks. Looks like it was released in 1991 and was the one (and only?) release to contain some of the AMT '55 Nomad parts, as mentioned here:

Here's a look at all versions on the AMT '55 Chevy Bel Air Sedan kit, so hopefully others can fill in the missing details regarding which kits contains the stock, street machine, or parts for both build options. Here's the original issue 2'n1 #6771 kit from 1989, which contains parts to build either the stock or street machine version: The below kit is also #6771, but features a slightly different AMT/Ertl logo (which I'll refer to as the 'stairstep' logo). Are the contents of both #6771 kits the same? The AMT/Ertl #31931 1955 Chevy Bel Air Street Machine kit shown below in the 'long exposure/wavy lines' packaging: The AMT (no Ertl) #385353 1955 Chevy Bel AIr Street Machine in the 'checkerboard' box: The AMT #30266 'Millennium' version from 2000, which contains both stock and street machine parts: Here's the new box art for the 2018 reissue, AMT 1119:

I would think so. Maybe another van, panel truck, or sedan delivery or some sort with Twinkies, etc. decals, much like Round2 did with the Nestle candy decals a few year ago. I'm guessing Round2 designed some extra markings in addition to those which will be included with the forthcoming AMT Chevy Police Van reissue.

They were included in the last "Millennium" reissue for sure and #6671, which had the stock built up on the box top. See below info regarding one kit some of the parts were included with, please. No, they weren't, and the way the parts are laid out for the '55 Nomad makes it impractical they ever would or could be included with the '55 sedan, too.

I'm sure the "infra-red baking" did help the plastic, either. It's too bad the Ford Times was glovebox sized (5" x 9"), as the pics are small and grainy, but there are many details which can still be seen. The 1/10 scale '60 Ford Ranchero body looks like a hollow shell, rather than a solid wood (or clay, thought the caption states it's clay...which, it doesn't look like to me) buck.

No, not really. We've discussed the Lincoln Y block and MEL engine before here on the forum, so for anyone not up to speed on what's actually available in kits, start here:

The below two kits, both released by RC2, are the same inside, despite the different built up models shown on the box, correct? This one, correct?: The below kit, AMT T438, appears to be a newer model year (based upon the grille/hood without the dip at the front edge), 1980, maybe? Were the stock AMT '75-'77 Novas updated to '79(?)+ specs, never to return?

The MPC '75 Vette has a very nice set of two front and two rear wheels. Not sure about the rest of the F/C specific parts, but just focusing on the "glass" for now, I''m going to guess the F/C windshield was eliminated years ago from the group of transparent parts.

Kookies Tee in a plastic kit ?
Casey replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Fad Ts had their moment in the sun long ago, just like other automotive fads which have come and gone, and despite a few hold outs, didn't stand the test of time. -
