  1. Yep, that's it. I assumed JO-HAN based on the "CADDY" cast in the inside of the part, but now I see the JO-HAN lettering is larger, too. That looks like it. I think the DeSoto valve cover is form that kit, too, now that I look at the instruction sheet.
  2. Thanks. I checked it against the Rat Packer Chevy II and it looks like a match. I have a few bucket seats, too, which look they are from AMT or MPC second gen Camaro (or maybe Vega for the slightly small white ones?), two of which I think I've ID'd by the plastic color alone: Green seat from MPC Street Savage Camaro, and blue seat from MPC Night Prowler Camaro, white seats look like MPC '74 Camaro?
  3. Ahhhhhh....I see it now. I have a few more parts I could use some help with. I think I know which kits a few of these parts were included with, but not sure on some: 1) Firefighter's hat: AMT Cinder Bug? 2) Silver plastic transfer case from ??? 3) Ladder bar from AMT(?) ???? 4) Log style intake manifold from AMT ??? 5) Chrome plated crankshaft from AMT(?) ??? 6) DESOTO FIRE DOME EIGHT early Hemi valve cover from AMT '32 Ford Roadster?? 7) RH Cadillac engine/trans half from JO-HAN ???
  4. Early issues of the 1/24 Monogram Chevy Van kits include 8-lug "wagon" wheels and turbine style wheels, much like those found in the 1/24 Monogram '55 Ford Panel Truck kit. From the one-time-only Monogram Chevy Off-Road Van" 4x4 kit: More info and pics here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/8/24-monogram-chevy-van-kits
  5. Thanks, guys. I was just impressed with how precisely that disc is, and how well it snuggles down into the wheel to minimize the amount of "lip" which can be seen. Much nicer than the Monogram Green Hornet style discs.
  6. 1) Gotta be from an AMT kit on those Firestone Supremes, right? 2) I think this wheel and disc wheel cover are from the AMT '32 Ford 5-window kit?:
  7. Just sayin'...
  8. Thanks for the info, Cale. Those are definitely 8-lug wheels:
  9. 1/25 scale perfection. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/76ventura_page.html
  10. I believe all the wheels used with the 1/20 MPC PVC Desert Dog tires have eight lugs, regardless of which kit they are included with. Maybe the AMT Orange Blossom Special includes 8-lug rear wheels? I think the front wheels are six-lug.
  11. I believe all the 1/24 Monogram/Revell '73-'86 Chevy/GMC kits include six lug wheels, not eight-lug. I know for sure the Rally truck wheels are six lug, as are all the other variants which fit the Goodyear Tracker A-T tires, including both styles of Dodge Ramcharger wheels. Here are two eight-lug wheels below. THe wheel on the left might be from a 1/25 scale dually kit or promo? The second, from AMT's annual Ford pickup kits, is very nice:
  12. Sorry. Not sure what you thought there'd be to laugh at, though. I see a cleanly painted engine and very nice three-tone interior, so other than a bit of crazing(?) of the plastic on the top of the dashboard, it looks great. I would do something to the wheels...maybe white to match the stripes?
  13. It does appear the ribs and are much too thick and the housing/case shape not terribly accurate on the AMT parts. This oddball supercharger goes hand in hand with the Latham setup from the '23 T kits.
  14. These are on eBay currently, an listed as being from a JO-HAN '66 Plymouth Fury. I found it interesting that the cooling slots are molded open on these:
  15. It's in the Calendar, too:
  16. Does the same apply to the '34 Ford and Pinto kits?
  17. Coming up quickly.
  18. Thanks, Mike. I checked out the IMC Ford J-car and verified that particular piece is from that kit. Ditto for the custom nose piece from the AMT '62 Bonnie HT.
  19. A few more...: 1) Has to be from an MPC 1970(?) annual Challenger or Barracuda, molded in (not painted) purple): 2) Rear(?) body panel from a Ford ???? Has brackets on the interior side which might be for tilting the body up, so maybe a Funny Car?: 3) Bottom part is the AMT '32 Ford Sedan grille, but not sure on the top piece. Looks '60s Chrysler-ish? Imperial?: 4) This is much less pale in person, but not so gold like the Monogram '29 Pickup. Looks like a clearance hump for a rear cross spring?
  20. There are some poor fit areas, similar to the Monogram Badman '55 Chevy, but nothing you can't overcome with patience. The grille-to-body was always a PITA as there wasn't much surface area to mate the two together. I don't think the Street Rat version has been reissued since the '80s. The 5-slot wheels on the Street Rat version are still some of the best available, and would be the reason I would chose that kit over the SS version. Those flame decals are pretty sweet, though.
  21. Are these essentially (exactly?) the same chrome parts from the original AMT '66 Impala kit, maybe with the grille "texture" removed?
  22. The following still exist and have been reissued within the last decade or so, either by Ertl or RC2 and/or by Model King and maybe another company, too? I don't recall Round2 ever having reissued any of the Modified Stocker kits: I don't think the '65 GTO Modified Stocker has ever been reissued? That box art, tho... Are the '34 Ford and Pinto from this same series of kits?
