  1. 100% false. I have done exactly that multiple times over the past few weeks while using Google Chrome. See here:
  2. Those wheels are actually 1/20 scale, and scale out to just over 19" in 1/25 scale.
  3. Yep: I don't recall any stock conversions for the '41 Coupe not Pickup, though.
  4. Two sold for ~$55 in November on eBay, and there's a nice assembled original kit in red currently listed for ~$50...
  5. Bumped by the '29/'30 Model A.
  6. No 1/25 scale kit of a '70 El Camino...ever. AMT re-packaged the JO-HAN '70 Toronado and Cutlass 442, but the not the Eldorado. A few on the list above came out in the Motor City Stocker Series with different part numbers, so maybe AMT was a bit too optimistic about 1970.
  7. The Comet isn't to difficult to find, as RC2/Model King reissued it in 2005 or so: Hmmm, looks like the kit above was in the Round2's possession recently...
  8. The original poster, about dealing with RR, not you specifically.
  9. True. Missing Link can supply the shaker hood and two scoop parts: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Resin-25th-MPC-1971-76-Pontiac-Trans-Am-hood-w-shaker-by-missing-link/292368512200?hash=item44128574c8:g:aOAAAOSw8GtZOyaN
  10. Fujimi 12633 - 1/24 RS-7 Audi 90 Quattro 20V 126333 https://www.rcjaz.com/fujimi-12633-124-rs7-audi-90-quattro-20v-126333-p-90072603.html
  11. I don't think anybody does. I would suggest finding a vintage MPC body/kit on ebay and starting there, using the parts from the most recent MPC '79 Firebird T/A and the '78 Trans Am for a base kit/parts donors.

  13. Maybe this is what you were thinking of/had read?:
  14. I don't think there's ever been a separate hardtop offered in any of the AMT Lincoln Continental kits, only full hardtop body shells, which I recall a few people stating no longer exist-- this AMT '65 Convertible is believed to be the last of the line, so to speak. I'm not sure if there was ever a separate Continental hardtop piece offered in any other AMT kits as a custom part (similar to the separate Thunderbird hardtop included in the original 1/24 Monogram '55 Chevy kit), though I doubt it. Here's the original(?) '65 Lincoln Continental Hardtop kit box, which appears to be a heavy influence on the sales sheet's main wagon artwork: I believe this was the last reissue under the "Nostalgic Series" label during the RC2 era:
  15. I don't think a separate hardtop exists, so it would need to be an all-new part...which would be a good idea. Not sure how much the Lincoln Continental Hardtop's top changed over the years, but Round2 seems to have no qualms reissuing the '70 Challenger with a separate (semi-crude) hardtop.
  16. Looks like the 1/25 AMT '65 Lincoln Convertible kit is being pushed as a Wagon more than a Convertible, but that's probably a more accurate description of this kit as it exists today:
  17. Just as an FYI, the Autocar Tractor is being reissued soon, so maybe that saves you some $$4 if you can find the dump bed and suspension parts spearately:
  18. Good tip. I recall the separate (as in individual, not all joined by a backing plate as on the Revell SnapTite kit) headlight buckets were a finicky fit on the 1/24 Monogram Malibu, but I want to say the lenses didn't have any mounting pins, either.
