  1. That can be arranged. Wait, you might like that. Which browser are you using, and which version, Joe?
  2. You're right, Ben. The "Upload attachments" option does not show up in the Model Trucks: Resin & Aftermarket section after you advance to the "More rely options" window. I think it's because that particular section was created relatively recently, and Dave Ambrose has to manually go in set up those features which are already available in other sub-sections of the forum. You can use the same image links from your website, then click the picture of the tree icon, paste the image link, and:

  4. There are plenty of free image hosting 'sites on the interwebz, so choose one you like and upload, then share, the images to your heart's delight. You have to use a lot of bandwidth to exceed Photobucket's bandwidth limit, so you probably will never, ever have to worry about reaching that point. PB has photo editing features that will suffice for just about any web-viewed image, it's free, and you can control everything about your images.
5. If you're using an off-site (i.e., not using the Upload Attachment feature here in the forum) photo host such as fotki, Photobucket, etc., all you need to do is copy and paste the correct image link in the body of the reply box. You do not need to use the "More Reply Option" window and click the picture icon and so forth-- it's absolutely not necessary. Copy (Control or Command "C") the "Image link for forums" (on fotki), the paste (Control or Command "V") the copied link in the body of your message here. That's all there is to it. Here's an image from your fotki album. I clicked the "Share" tab, then "More sharing options" tab, then highlighted and copied the "Code for forums" link, then pasted it below: Hosted on Fotki
  6. Yes, he did, and always knew just what to do without doing too much. The second issue Citation "X" (kit #2288) of the kit is much more appealing in that '80s club racer Rally (Monogram'scar word, not mine) sort of way: Even the original issue Citation Turbo (kit #2278) is fairly clean and restrained: Collectible Automobile ran an excellent article on the GM X-bodies a few years ago, and it's well worth seeking out IMHO. The X-cars were GM's first compact FWD cars, and I'm sure GM understood the learning curve was gong to be steep, but I never saw them as a huge failure and still like them, especially the '84-5 Citation X-11.
  7. Well, IMC was planning to (and in all fairness, almost didi) release a few ex-JOHAN kits but it didn't work out, and it sounds like Moebius isn't quite out of the woods yet themselves with these two kits (and whichever additional JOHAN tooling they are pursuing), so you should be happy you have one in hand. Nothing's ever easy when it comes to JOHAN.
  8. The inclusion of "Ranger" seems very specific to the 1/24 Monogram Flareside kit, as no other Monogram nor Revell kit was labelled as such. The "Night Rider" snap-together Revell '80s F-series has been reissued once, but I don't recall any of the other early '80s F-series pickups from either Revell nor Monogram having been reissued.
  9. You could try grafting on the cargo area from either Revell's '66 Chevelle wagon or AMT's '65 immediately aft of the rear seat if you're using the 2-door's interior tub. The cargo area of wagon's isn't too complex, with two wheel housings, maybe a spare tire hump, and the flat floor. See this vid review for a clear look at what the '66's floor/cargo area piece looks like: http://youtu.be/yu36XRgnNpQ?t=5m14s
  10. I think you need some new club members/friends if they called you all those names by default. No online forum is the perfect place for everyone, so if this one isn't right for them, there are other online forums for discussing scale models. No group of individual members speaks nor represents the MCM forum as a whole, and we have a wide enough range of experience, skill, and personalities here that everything seems to flow fairly evenly, but we do have some occasional big waves. Doesn't make it good nor bad, just typical of what happens when large groups of people comes together to discuss a common interest.
  11. I think the wheels are unchanged, as IIRC there were three sets of wheels inside this kit. http://www2.gpmd.com/imagel/r/lrmxs4311.jpg
  12. Yeah, I bungled that reply. I second your suggestion to use the AMT hood is what I should've said. The thickness I mentioned was based on me trying to fit it on the Revell '69 Camaro body shell, but I can't say how it fits the new Revell '67. I bet it's very close, but would need some shimming.
  13. Same with the AMT '67/8 hood, though IIRC, it's a bit thick.
  14. I looked over the purple Challenger today and the body looked good to my eyes, at least as far as I could tell through the "window." I couldn't see any mold lines under the paint, so that's definitely a step up over the old AMT pre-finished kits at least. I think Revell has a good thing going with this series.
  15. No, you're only supposed to use water-based paints with that particular booth IIRC.
  16. In '15-'16, maybe? ...but with fauxback box art:
  17. Saw this on eBay last night. Very nice. These would typically run a GM engine, either a V8 or inline six, correct?
  18. Was the '59 Rambler wagon mentioned, too? Not sure whether to read more into Steve Goldman's "These items were in the best condition so that's why there being run first." comment or not from this post: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49120&hl=
  19. That's really neat to see, though it appears the driver's side belt has turned inside out? Thanks for the pics, Sam.

  21. The tires are the Monogram big 'n' little Goodyear Rally GT tires as found in most issues of the 1/24 '66 Malibus, '55 Street Machine, '55 Ford Pickup, '78 El Camimo, '29 Ford Pickup, '69 Camaro, etc., so they'll work well on a '70s era vehicle.
  22. Yes, it's a small block Chevy intake. R&MCoofM has no online presence, but you can e-mail them: replmincomd@aol.com
  23. Click the "My Media" to the right of the smiley face.
  24. Yes, they did: It was the tractor only for the Stevens reissue IIRC.
  25. Some did, but it won't be Round2: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=94326&p=1277204
