  1. If you don't mind me asking, what are you using for the upper A arms?
  2. Nice work. Lots of griping about his kits, but you made it stand out. Question on the headers, are they available thru someone?
  3. That kit has been issued several times with different box art and decals, so unless you are a 3 stooges collector, I would look elsewhere.
  4. Powerslide Petty '64 Belvedere decal has the side trim in chrome. You could file the molded kit trim off and use it.
  5. The clear body is a slab side. I haven't seen you one before except your pictures. The earlier ones have a definite curve at the bottom. Look at Dale Jr. AC Delco car. You are doing the right thing by replacing the clear parts for painting. They will be less brittle and sanding mold lines is easier.
  6. There is an Earnhardt that is a slab side, guess it was one of the last kits. The Labonte Kelloggs and Jeff Gordon both had slab side kits. Someone could verify this, but the last Gran Prixs (Hot Wheels, John Deere, Hamilton) should work too. On Randy Ayers forum, someone made a list of the two variations.
  7. I would think you could get the viper red in a touch up spray from an auto parts store still.
  8. Tim, I like it when someone paints Corvette models with lacquer paint, like the factory did on the real cars.
  9. You could open up the holes in your photo etched parts with a drill bit or twirling an exacto blade in them
  10. Their 53 Corvette has one with optional parts for the 54
  11. 1970 Corvette LT-1 with a 4 speed
  12. Looking for cast/printed/aftermarket parts for 1/12 scale models. Working on a couple of Monogram '67 Corvettes, would like L-88, road and drag racing pieces, wheels and tires. Thanks
  13. I would bet this was one of Kyle's cars that Richard had to use for some reason. If you have the book "The Cars of the King", in the chapter on the 1981 Regals, you can see he used one of Kyle's Buicks. During that time frame, Richard had trouble with wheels busting, so maybe he was trying something new.
