  1. My bad Marcos. I apologize....meant to say REALLY nice!
  2. Fantastic! Great job of weathering and detail. Keep it up!
  3. Very cool! Excellent work on the chassis, drivetrain, with creative paint to boot.
  4. Nearly nice! Great wheel & paint combo and excellent "foil" job!
  5. Thank you, Ulf. I enjoyed this one, but found two small parts while cleaning up the workbench. Guess I'll have to add one more. The fun continues!
  6. Thank you, Michael. The pursuit of creating something unique and innovative for vehicles I'd love to drive keeps me going. Keep building!
  7. I appreciate your kind words and thoughtful review. Motor on!
  8. Well done! Great weathering and interesting mash-up. That is one well worn, but much loved, 1-Ton work truck. Nice photography too!
  9. While sitting in my doctor’s office waiting to have my head examined, I was daydreaming about building a wild VW Bus. I envisioned a setup with a mid-ship 911 Carrera 3.2 engine, Porsche front and rear suspensions, and the ability to haul a motorcycle. But once again, my creative ambitions outpaced my skill set. I enjoyed the challenge, but please don’t scrutinize too closely! Donor kits included Revell’s 1:24 scale VW T1, Samba Bus, and Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe. Body mods include cutting off the roof and parts of the sides, installing rear fenders from a ‘32 Ford up front, and rear fenders from Lindberg’s ’38 Custom Ford Van in back. I crafted side breather scoops and a diamond plate bed with stowable motorcycle ramps. The engine is fully detailed. A competition gas cap was located on the driver's side, the doors were hinged (replacing the kit’s fragile plastic pins with piano wire), storage bins flank the bed, the exhaust exits above the rear bumper, and it got a sunroof. Paints include Tamiya, Corral Blue TS-41, Pure White TS-26, and Pearl White TS-45 for the exterior. The stripes are Brilliant Orange TS-56 and 1/64th black chart tape. The undercarriage is Semi-Gloss Black TS-29, with suspension components in Semi-Gloss Bright Gun Metal TS-100, Titanium Silver TS-88, Titanium Gold TS-87, and Gun Metal TS-38. Highlights are achieved with various Testors paints, Tamiya Panel Line Accent, Revell Chrome, Molotow Chrome pen, finished with two coats of Pearl Clear and three coats of TS-13 Clear. Full disclosure, I couldn't find an appropriate 1:24 scale motorcycle kit, so I resorted to a ‘store-bought' fully assembled Honda RC213V. But I did alter the color scheme to match. Thanks for looking, enjoy!

Great job! Krylon never looked so good!!!
  12. Cool concept and very well done, Claude. Love the stance and what's in the bed. Sweet!
  13. Really sweet '34. I posted one recently, but I got in over my head on mods and customizing. Yours is much cleaner and smoother. Well done!
  14. Another blunder...meant to say, "could NOT find the pics."
  15. Hello Tim. Thank you for the kind words and for providing motivation, education, and entertainment through your posts and magazine articles. Your work and play are inspirational! The decals are Cool Flames 1:24 1:25 Gofer Racing Decals 11081 Model Car applied over Tamiya Deep Blue, which was applied over Silver Leaf and under two coats of Clear Blue. Thanks for looking. Have you seen several of my other attempts (posts)? Thanks again!
  16. Outstanding! Really clean. Great gray, red accents, and black trim color combinatioin. Underestated, yet classically cool! Well done!!!!
  17. This one was insipred by a very cool 1:1 '34 seen at a local Cars & Coffee...but I could find the pics taken that morning. My bad!
  18. Good catch! I think some folks, like me, got caught up in all the excitement this general topic can conjur up. After adding to the problem, I realized what I had done....my bad! Yessiree
  19. Some very cool and creative rides! I just posted a '34 that I tried to duplicate what was on my mind. I may have tried just a little too hard, but I think it turned out OK.
  20. Very cool Tim. Classic, with a twist. Very well done! I just posted a crazy '34 that I got in way over my head on...as I often do because of my wandering mind.
  21. Thanks, David. It was a temptation, but I tried not to go too "high tech" with carbon fiber and the like.
  22. Very cool! I remember Before & After. Good luck on the raffle.
  23. Congrats, Bruce, on your IMPS awards. That Cobra is awesome—one of my favorite cars of all time! Best wishes on the 296 cars. SWEET! Thank you
  24. Very well done. Excellent replica! I can appreciate all of the work you put into creating this masterpiece of rolling art. That was a wild background in the video.
