  1. Finally some modern tires! What engine is that? P.S. The site is really slow!
  2. Where in the world did you find those 'correct' SOHC valve covers! Really nice build!
  3. You are correct, for a snap kit it is very detailed and you've done a great job fixing the deficiencies, especially the head and tail lights! Your furry helper pic made me LOL. Great Job! ?
  4. I highly doubt that. Maybe formulating a response, Waiting to release an announcement, or ???
  5. A lot of AD trucks! And it's nice to see more SBCs than LS motors! Great pix!
  6. I like the second one, the yellow one.
  7. That's why the '50s were called the Jet Age... or the Atomic Age depending on what you (or your company) were pimping. Very cool ride, Thanx for sharing!
  8. When I sent in my form I posted the link to this thread. I haven't heard anything yet either.
  9. That is a lot more reasonable than I thought... Carry On!
  10. Ha, if mine started on fire I'd just push it out the window. I'm on the first floor so no chance of lighting-up someone's hair. ? If I was to build one I'd look at a bathroom ceiling fan. Comes with a box and would be easily mounted to a thin plywood board, like 3/8" or so. I think the important part would be filtering, that's where I'd spend the money.
  11. Do you think it needs an explosion-proof fan? Do present modeling-type paint booths have them?
  12. In front of that is a '48(?) 'Shivey' Boulevard cruiser. All in All, a nice little detour during a work day.
  13. What's in the garage? A One Owner '70 Z-28! He wouldn't open the hood for me but claimed it's a stroker small block with NoS.
  14. Right behind that was a really sweet (for a Ford?) Econoline pickup. The owner said he put a 289 and a C4 in it, otherwise is unrestored except for a paint job.
  15. Driving through Champain IL last week and ran across these. I think he said it was a '51 Crosley. Yea Crosley, the car that Frank Lloyd Wright made famous. Fortunately he left the hideous front off it. Note the FoMoCo 2-barrel carbs with 3 adapters under them. Otherwise a nicley executed RR. Also note the turn signals in the firewall.
  16. To me, it looks like the bearded guy is pointing, saying "There's a SNAKE in there, I saw it!" The scrap yard owner is looking for it, a little skeptical, and the dog is looking where his Human is pointing, ready for action. A Really Nice Job!
  17. I just did a pretty comprehensive search and can find no PP006 Polyglas GT tire packs anywhere, not even ebay! ?
  18. Well I understand now why nobody replied to my request. I spent a week all over down there and every town I visited I googlized local hobby shops and got back nada. Bloomington, Springfield, Peoria, Champain, Matoon, Danville, and many others, nothing. The only things that came up were HL and Micheals. A surprising number of slot car tracks but central Illinois is a LHS Dead Zone. ?
  19. I just threw up in my mouth, a little bit. I have seen worse though!
  20. Interesting that out of all those 'Funny Car' kits, the Psyclon was the only real Flopper.
  21. I think it's also in the Nova Twister/Rat Packer and the '63 Tempest, all labeled as 'Funny Car'.
  22. Looking at the frame in this 'modest' ebay listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/203708050945?hash=item2f6df22e01:g:0a8AAOSwao5hmVz0 , I recognize that frame is also in the Mustang Funny car. Actually a not very accurate round tube frame.
  23. How true. It's like fishing lures, they catch more fishermen than fish!
