  1. Great job on the finest fuel altered kit ever
  2. This is one great kit and you did a fantastic job. The wheel base alternations are spot on. The silver landy cars are my favorites
  3. The 65 fx’ers are my all time favorites Dyno Don was one of the best. Looks great
  4. Looks really good nice job on the color match
  5. SWEET !!!
  6. This is a box stock revell kit with decals by Lucas. I think this is a underrated kit I feel it builds up into a nice super stocker.
  7. That’s quite a nice survivor you have there
  8. These are both excellent suggestions for curb side kits. Especially the The Tempest as there could be some really cool drag options.
  9. I built this one from the revell duster Funny car I used the latest Mongoose issue. I moved the engine forward in the chassis, and hood bulge was cut out of the Don Schumacher Vega body , and grafted to the duster body. I also cut down the roll cage a little to get the body as low on the chassis as possible. The paint is Testors white with chuck Boener decals. Until next time thanks for looking. Mike
  10. This is the Atlantis Fiat kit with a parts box small block. For those not familiar with this kit buy a minimum of 6 of them and always keep a few of the shelf. For those who are familiar with it already have a few in stock. Most of the small block Chevy came from the double dragster kit. The blower with a molded in two port Hillborne injection I think was from the AMT 40 Ford .The back wheels and slicks are sourced from the AMT 33 Willy’s. The front wheels are also double dragster the decals are from Chris Walsh. Paint by Testors until next time thanks for looking. Mike
  11. Thanks . You can see the finished products in the under glass section of this forum. They are both part of my building the covers series
  12. This is a box stock revell monza funny car kit with slixx decals. Until next time thanks for looking. Mikee
  13. Sweet build are the decals still available?
  14. Wow now that’s crazy. Well done
  15. I’ve used pens on some of my lettering also and had the same inconsistent flow problem. I kinda figured the paint was glossy and to slick on a surface. We might have better control by being able to press down on the paper with a hard surface under it. I think I’m going to have to try that method out.
  16. May I ask what color/ brand green you used. Great project by the way
  17. This was a pretty simple build. I just used the amt 1968 road runner kit and added the wheels from the super stock 62 belair kit the slicks are standard amt parts. The hood scoop was pirated from the revell hemi dart . The clear lacquer yellowed the testors silver enamel a little the decals came by way of Chris Walsh . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  18. These Vegas are one of my favorite kits. The wheels look great. Very nice build
  19. That came out really nice. I like the hand lettering side better I think I looks more like a back yard 60’s drag car that way. Really nice attention to details
  20. I built this one some time ago using the revell jungle Jim kit. I swapped out the wheels with the front ones from polar lights and the back wheels from the mpc funny car. The mpc slicks really change the stance of this kit I think for the better. I painted it with testors true blue pearl and used slixx decals. This is one of the best funny car kits of all time, and there is a ton of amazing aftermarket decals available for it. I recommend the latest 2010ish version as it was updated to a one piece chassis and one piece rubber slicks. Until next time thanks for looking. Thanks mike
  21. I think the 1967 version with all of the Gasser parts and a stock option with that great 1967 box art but just my opinion
  22. Overall I think it looks great the wheels look really good. I see what you mean about the slight nose high stance. It might be just the camera angle but the hood scoop looks huge. Nice job.
  23. The 1966-69 Falcon would make a great selling reissue!
  24. You did a fantastic job piecing together this old Lindburg kit. The blue interior looks amazing. This makes me wish I had gotten a set of these decals. By the way I envy your neatly kept work space
  25. This is the fantastic box stock revell kit painted in old Testors Wimbledon white . I think the decals were by Lucas . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
