  1. This was a pretty simple build. I just used the amt 1968 road runner kit and added the wheels from the super stock 62 belair kit the slicks are standard amt parts. The hood scoop was pirated from the revell hemi dart . The clear lacquer yellowed the testors silver enamel a little the decals came by way of Chris Walsh . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  2. These Vegas are one of my favorite kits. The wheels look great. Very nice build
  3. That came out really nice. I like the hand lettering side better I think I looks more like a back yard 60’s drag car that way. Really nice attention to details
  4. I built this one some time ago using the revell jungle Jim kit. I swapped out the wheels with the front ones from polar lights and the back wheels from the mpc funny car. The mpc slicks really change the stance of this kit I think for the better. I painted it with testors true blue pearl and used slixx decals. This is one of the best funny car kits of all time, and there is a ton of amazing aftermarket decals available for it. I recommend the latest 2010ish version as it was updated to a one piece chassis and one piece rubber slicks. Until next time thanks for looking. Thanks mike
  5. I think the 1967 version with all of the Gasser parts and a stock option with that great 1967 box art but just my opinion
  6. Overall I think it looks great the wheels look really good. I see what you mean about the slight nose high stance. It might be just the camera angle but the hood scoop looks huge. Nice job.
  7. The 1966-69 Falcon would make a great selling reissue!
  8. You did a fantastic job piecing together this old Lindburg kit. The blue interior looks amazing. This makes me wish I had gotten a set of these decals. By the way I envy your neatly kept work space
  9. This is the fantastic box stock revell kit painted in old Testors Wimbledon white . I think the decals were by Lucas . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  10. The basic mpc challenger funny car kit topped with testors lacquer and slixx decals
  11. Yea I’ll miss him big time I’m lucky to have quite a few sheets stashed away. I’ve learned over the years when you see decals you buy them. As it’s always easier to find the kit that goes with it. The same goes for resin bodies. Scale modeling by Chris , Billy Gooche ,model hause and woopiekat all come to mind. I sure I’ve missed a few . With the decals I can’t figure out why someone else wouldn’t be interested or able to print them from their files?
  12. I really think they came from the amt hemi under glass kit
  13. This is the amt kit with parts box wheels testors white enamel , and smp decals . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  14. The great MPC Challenger funny car kit with decals from Jim heller tamyia yellow paint, and some leftover back wheels from grumpy’s pro stock Vega. These mpc funny cars are fast easy build and they look great. I think he ran this car around 1974.
  15. For those to young to know Vegas were prone to blown head gaskets. That was the demise of our family Vega in 1976
  16. This came out great I’ve been accumulating parts to build this one for awhile and you have provided me with the inspiration. Who’s decals did you use?
  17. Thanks but there’s a reason I didn’t show the right side. With out woopiekat I won’t be able to fix it anytime soon
  18. Nice conversion that’s the first time I’ve seen the sedan without out injectors, and with the hood scoop
  19. That’s a great looking finish I love the color

  21. The mpc Ramchargers kit with a decal swap and tamyia pearl white paint . Until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  22. This is the MPC RAMCHARGERS Challenger funny car right out of the box. Topped off with Testors white enamel and Chuck Boerner decals. These mpc funny cars just fall right together real easy, and they make a great replica. There’s also a lot of cool aftermarket decals to fit this body
  23. This is the excellent revell kit built box stock in testors white enamel with Fred caddy decals. This is a great building kit with lots of aftermarket decal options.
  24. Even though I’m not a huge Buick fun there’s something about the box art that really pulls me in and makes me want one
  25. Oh yeah I’m 1/25 th with a lot of mural decals and side pipes and porthole windows and roof skylights and shag carpet and …
