  1. I think it came out great. I really like this kit it would be nice to see reissued with all it’s original parts
  2. Your hornet came out awesome. Great level of detail especially on the carburetors , altenater, wheels, and that’s a really smooth white paint job. I wish these hornet bodies weren’t so hard to find. I would like to park one next to my shaman gremlin
  3. That’s a really nice grumpy’s toy great work on the engine compartment
  4. Really nice sharp paint lines and just the right shade of metallic orange.
  5. Wow John great job on all three 1965 was the best year for car styling ,drag racing , I’d like to build some of these myself but I’m hung up in a pro stock building binge. Your engine detailing is amazing you even did the brake line on the master cylinder. The wheels look real nice to. The Sox & Martin is also my favorite.
  6. This is the color of metallic pink that I used. Thanks for the nice compliment
  7. I built this some time ago so I’m not exactly sure where all the parts came from. The body is a resin piece that I found on eBay. I used the chassis and interior from the amt 1966 nova pro street version. The roll cage is made from 0.80 plastic rod. I pieced the big block Chevy engine together from my parts box with aftermarket injection stacks. The paint is testors lacquer. I think the decals came from WhoopiKat . Which very unfortunately just disappeared I would have really liked to have gotten more from him . Allen made some great subject matter and of great quality. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
  8. The body really fits the chassis well it looks great I like the color. Nice work.
  9. Now that they can reissue kits from 3-D scans there is no reason not to build these old collector kits. Who knows what’s coming down the pike next.
  10. Looks great. I have the same Fremont resin kit I think I might use a Lindburg 64 dodge for the Donor kit
  11. Just a out of the box super stock build . It’s a nice easy to build kit i would like to see it reissued with all the original pieces box art and decals
  12. That’s another great looking super stocker. Doesn’t feel good to use up leftover parts.
  13. I started out with the mpc volare kit and I used the chassis from a amt pro street gtx from the fire wall back . The hemi was also pulled from the gtx . The hood scoop is from comp. Resins I do think it’s a little to tall I should have cut it down. The window net is cut from a piece of window screen. The wheels came with the gtx. It’s finished in testors white enamel with decals from southern Motorsport hobbies. Until next time thanks for looking ?. Mike
  14. This was assembled from the fabulous mpc grumpy’s toy pro stock Vega kit . I added a small block engine from the amt 1970 Z-28 kit with the tunnel ram from the pro street 66 nova. It’s finished with testors revving red lacquer, white enamel, and clear coat. Topped off with slixx decals I found the thin pin stripe decals extremely difficult to put on. Overall it looks good . Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
  15. Looks great the injected cammer is exceptional and the color looks right on
  16. This is a mishmash of mpc and amt corvette kits. The 1960 the flip front 57 , and amt’s 62 . I cut hood scoop off of the mpc Malco gasser mustang and grafted it to the mpc 60 hood . The paint is a tamyia color with a heavy coat of pearl clear. The decals are not really correct, but they are the closest available that I could find. All in all it came out pretty good. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
  17. This came out really nice. Where did the decals come from? Nice work on the roll cage
  18. Great looking road runner
  19. This is the revell kit out of the box. I did a slight modification to the sail panel to better replicate the body style they used. It’s Painted with testors diamond dust silver lacquer and wet look clear. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
  20. Nice color combo it’s cool to see someone build a modern funny car. Great job
  21. Really nice job with a great color scheme.
  22. Wow! that’s as nice of a Ala kart as it gets. The pearl white paint came out really nice and with the original decals.
  23. This is the amt 1968 road runner kit with a raised rear suspension, crager s/s wheels on Firestone drag 500’s . I used a leftover roll bar from revell’s hemi dart while the tach is a leftover part from a polar lights funny car. It’s painted with tamyia bright red and topped off with decals by smp . Just a simple fun build. Thanks for looking ? , Mike

    GASSERS

They look great! I especially like the notched out fenders for the header dump clearance on the 37 ford, and of coarse a Vicky always looks great
  25. It’s out of the box mpc with the addition of a engine swap for a parts box small block.Such a great kit. It’s easy enough for a beginner it has the right stance and displays well on my shelf. Thanks round 2 . Reissue some more pro stocks soon please. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
