  1. I will be getting a Mustang or two. Probably an Olds modified stocker too.
  2. I may need to pick up a couple too.
  3. Good looking truck
  4. Thank you for your kind words @bob29579 and @ybsluos. @Duane Garner continues to be a sounding board, source of encouragement and more importantly, a friend.
  5. Great looking model, thanks for posting it.
  6. I'll probably be getting a Starliner.
  7. I was asking what you used for the vent/pipe. Everything that I've thought about using looked to big or to little. I'll get some 2mm rod and drill it out. Thank you for your help! Steve
  8. Great looking build. I always liked "Handsome Harry" Gant, that's another nickname for Mr. September. To me, he was sort of like Ned Jarrett, more of a gentleman racer. He could get with it when needed, but we rarely heard of him intentionally crashing other drivers. Your color choices and painting are spot on. If you don't mind my asking, what do you use for your overflow? I've looked at various things, but nothing seems in scale
  9. Looks like she's ready to load up and head to the track. Well done
  10. I love it! She really does have that Saturday night street stock look. Can't wait to see the final product.
  11. Looks great
  12. Looks great to me. I've always liked that version of the Olds Cutlass.
  13. Looks great, just like a good ol street stocker or modified street division car.
  14. Looks great to me and you're correct, the black and green do look good together! I've got one in line to build. I really enjoy those old kits.
  15. Here's a couple that I have saved. Look at the tire's on these old cars! Pretty cool headers on #3.
  16. That Chevelle one is part of the AMT Modified Stocker series. You're correct, the tires are big, but not disproportionately so. Some cars ran tires that big back in the day. They called the tires "humpers".
  17. Thank you for the heads up. I've got two AMT Pinto's in the stash right now.
  18. I'd like to get one of those Mustangs if it came a four banger. Love to build a mini-modified or a mini stocker.
  19. Very nice! I'm a blue oval fan and a Wood Brother's junkie.
  20. Great looking race car! I've never seen that one. Thank you for posting this.
  21. Well done Pierre!
  22. You've sure got the demo derby look on this one. Well done!
  23. It was called Highland Rim Speedway when I raced there. It's north of Nashville, in Greenbrier , TN. It's now called Veterans Motorplex at the Rim I think. Looks like the call them road hogs now. The class didn't exist when I raced there. I stopped racing in 1990. The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway has a Crown Vic division now. It's for Crown Vic's, Mercury Marquis and Lincoln Town Car's.
