That is hilarious! Actually, I just recently learned Louis Chevrolet was Swiss-American, and the Chevy symbol harkens to the flag of Switzerland. And I guess we shouldn't even talk about the DeTomaso Pantera which was owned by Argentinian Alejandro de Tomaso, designed by Dutch-American Tom Tjaarda, built in Italy by Ghia, with an engine by Ford, and sold by Lincoln/Mercury. -

Man, those are some nice restomods! What's the maroon one (third from the last photo)? -

... I just realized looking at my photos; the chained stanchions are just as annoying in scale as they are in real life, they totally get in the way of a good shot! Remind me not to use those anytime soon -
Suh-weet!

So, if you have a 1:64 Hot Wheels you love, and you decide to build one 1:1 - is that called "Life imitating art"? ... ...And if we were to be inspired by this car and decide to build a scale model of it, wouldn't that be "Life imitating art imitating life"?

Hello All, after a break from the Hot Rod Magazine reviews, I decided it's time for us to catch up a little. So, the link to the free magazines is still up and working fine (just go to the main Hot Rod page and click on Magazines). I log on with Gmail, and have not been deluged with spam as some were concerned about. Without further ado, here are just a few items from more recent articles... Gorgeous 65 Dodge Dart like I've never seen before. Who would've thunk it could look so sporty slammed and sinister looking? HRM March 2022

Old ‘57 Chevy build with paint work by my dad.

As you commented recently on my tired build done with my son, I totally understand the sweet sentiment behind this car. I feel so happy to have just taken mine apart, gently cleaned everything and put it back together with a sort of "sympathetic restoration" to preserve the patina as the classic car collectors say. Such a great model, and even better story. -
I'm totally digging this build, and I looked up "Pacific Green"; what a beautiful teal it is!

Total beauty! I love the blue exterior color and decal work, along with the white interior.

Thank you Doyle. You're very kind. I'm already halfway done with the Milk Trike... This certainly is a nice change from my builds which take months for one custom.
