  1. Way cool Andrew! Paul would have loved it ?
  2. Great job Michelle! This is my favorite design of KITT after the original, and you did wonderfully showcasing its gadgets. Oh, and the edited pics are a great touch
  3. An uncommon car with custom touches and a great stance on some cool rolling stock. Totally loving it!

    '66 Malibu SS

Very tasty build. Well done Sir!
  5. Just gorgeous Justin! I have to admit I have a soft spot for this car as I had a 65 Impala SS in Tahitian Turquoise years ago, and built a model of it later on myself.
  6. Just beautiful! I particularly like the attention you gave to textures. Well done Tom!
  7. So cool Michelle. It looks as good in back as it does in the front!
  8. Aaah, the 70's! I love your homage to the era. Well built as usual!
  9. Such a great build! I will be following with great interest
  10. So sacrilegious. I love it!
  11. Got it on ebay for $232 including shipping, and had it from China in 8 days. What a small world it has become!
  12. I bought this on a lark, and am so glad I did. It is fantastic!
  13. Beautiful build, great photos, and wonderful tips Jürgen. Thank you for posting!
  14. Well done Al! And I especially love the "Rocky Balboa" monicker
  15. I never noticed the swooping lines on the Plymouth Coupe of this era before. Your body treatment and stance absolutely do it justice. Well done!
  16. I'm liking the subdued color combo - looks very period correct. I'm also going to need to pull my AMT out of mothballs and break the seal to see if I have the correct tub...
  17. Thank you much Tim. Your Fotki page did a great job illustrating the changes and I've already made note for my next such build.
  18. Every time I'm at Hobby Lobby, I see the quick-builder fighter planes from New Ray, like the one below. Recently, I decided to give them a try since they were on sale for under ten bucks each. I found them fun to build, and acceptably realistic - especially once I threw on some detail paint and nose art. All in all, I got ten of them together, and found them under various brand names - mostly New Ray, Testors, and Smithsonian. If you're looking for some quick slump-busters for static display, to hang from the ceiling, or even for gaming - these might do the trick for you. Here are mine from WWII for your perusal: P51 Mustang P40 Warhawk F4U Corsair (also sold as the "Scout") Spitfire D520 Dewoitine MIG 3 BF109 Messerschmitt Japanese Zero And from WWI, a couple more. This one, the Sopwith Camel: And finally, the Fokker Dr. 1 I'm sure you have noted my puerile attempt at erasing the stands these airplanes were resting on. But, rest assured - as far as the planes themselves, what you see is how they look. Have fun!
  19. Aah, the Xenia. What awesome tastes you have! My son and I saw it at the Mullin Automotive Museum a few years ago. It is BIG and beautiful
  20. Not to worry, our hobby keeps us young!
  21. Fantastic build Pico! What's next on your bench - - - perhaps the Lancia Stratos HF Zero or Holden Hurricane?
  22. Gary, your model actually looks pretty great. As with all art though, the toughest critic is the artist who created it I too look at my earlier models and notice the flaws, but have come to regard them as a time capsule of where my skills (and patience) were when I built them. In regards to the BMF, I noticed the same thing - especially tarnishing wherever I handled it with bare hands.
  23. So superb! And I totally get what you mean about setting a project aside when it stops being fun. I've been working on a Foose Impostor now for six years on-and-off myself I would love to build a belly tanker in 1:25th scale myself, but can't find a kit anywhere - styrene, resin, or anything else. Maybe this will be my impetus to try 3d printing as well. Thank you for posting.
  24. It looks like it's been in the Arizona sun its whole life. Just fantastic job!
