Very nice build

Got a start on the trailer for the truck. Starting with the AMT Lowboy kit (as the donor). Will use the rear three axle section without beaver tail, will stretch to a 40ft drop deck. Will build up a set of 10 hole wheelset. Frame paint in turquoise and suspension in semi gloss black

Rear fenders mounted, lights on, fuel tanks mounted. Think I will shorten the exhaust. Finish up interior and cab but getting close.

Thanks, got a ways to go yet. Gonna put together a flatbed trailer with same paint scheme to finish this one out.

Very nice

Quick mock-up before attaching rear fenders and identifying fuel tank locations. Raised body mounts .030 for more clearance with the oversized tires

Rebuilt the chrome kit fuel tanks and yes I know, you will only be able to see the top rear corner with the aero skirts mounted. But the kit tanks just looked so bad. Getting the paint on the hood fixed.

I like your idea on the mud flaps, little detail and they will look way better than the molded part. May steal your idea.

Ever have one of those days where nothing goes right, today is mine. I double checked to make sure my tape was stuck down really well, maybe my tape is old or ……….who knows. I could scream, wait for it to dry totally, sand it down and start over.

A mistake on my part, I thought the Mack cab was 1:25 scale, it is not, rather 1:24. I will be using the Mack Superliner (in my stash) as the donor kit. Ordered new 1:24 air lift non steering and steering air lift axle from A&N. Wide front tires and wheels ordered from ST Supply and miscellaneous other stuff coming. Assuming I can use the engine and drive axles from the Superliner

Is the trailer scratch built or did you have something to start from?
