  1. My model kit building philosophy is do the best I can, try to improve, don't take it too seriously and have fun. I think it does take a certain amount of craftsmanship to build a kit but I do not think of myself as a "craftsman" when it comes to kit building. For me a craftsman is what is defined in the Webster's dictionary. "a person and especially a man who practices a trade or handicraft as a job"
  2. Found this for a buck at the thrift store. Great art work. Loved this movie when I was little.
  3. Nice to see a pre war electric. Beautiful build.
  4. So sad to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers to you.
  5. Schubert rock'n it mod style................ Found this last week for a buck at the local thrift shop. BTW the LP itself is in mint shape and plays good.
  6. Mustang's..... Although I would build them if I had the time and space.
  7. Super nice build, wonderful details in that interior.
  8. Scotty like......!!!!! Very interesting color choice. I still want to use that kit with the notch kit to make a replica of my 88 5.0 LX vert.
  9. Very cool......a Mustang lovers dream. Love the "guard" cat.
  10. Real one sold at Barrett a few years ago. https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2016/01/05/farrah-fawcetts-foxy-vette-to-be-offered-at-barrett-jackson/ Dig that shag..........
  11. Unique and cool...............!
  12. Sweet ride, Congrats! Those are great little commuters in nice weather. I would love to have a vintage one or another Honda CB350 like I had in the early 80's. And it's only dangerous (at least to me) if you do not wear a helmet.
  13. Fantastic replica of your baby! I love that color on the 1:1, I might have to look into that color when I repaint my 88 5.0.
  14. Very nice save! Neat to see an early car like this in scale.
  15. Holy wicked build......! I swear it's like looking at the real thing. I'm just floored by the wonderful details.
  16. A buddy in high-school had one of these. I had to go pick him up more times than I can count cause his had wiring issues. When it did run it was a blast to drive. He wound up selling it after having it only one year for around $500. That was in 1982 and in the late 90's I saw it at a car show fully restored and sure enough it was the guy that bought it from my friend in 82. I wonder what ever happened to it as I never saw it again.
  17. Absolutely amazing build! You "nailed" that woodgrain.
  18. I thought that was a little odd as well and I noticed they had to rephotograph a few as they made them look so much better....LOL I did not know of a few cars they have done as well. But I wanted that VW Bug..............!!!!!!! I miss my old Bug.
  19. Last nights show was great. Steve re-living his youth with a tribute build. His show is working, it's getting me all excited about building kits again.
  20. I'm love'n it. Those two seem like very nice, honest guys and not out to make millions, just enough to keep the garage running, have a bit of fun and save cars from the J-yard.
  21. DVR'd it. I'm watching another show I DVR'd right now, Flipping Bangers.
  22. Stunning! Paint looks flawless.
  23. That is so cool................! "Live long and prosper!"
  24. Very nice work. Love me some Herbie...........
  25. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
