  1. Always wanted a reel to reel but never could afford it. I still use my cassette tape deck and make tapes for my 88 Mustang. A friend was going to throw this Denon tape deck out but I got it instead, it just needed new belts and good cleaning, works perfect.
  2. Neat build. Wonderful details for being so small.
  3. All 4 are fantastic! I built a cop car out of the 69 Ford 2 door, I might have to get a few of the 4 doors and build a few more cop cars.
  4. Nice build. Love those wheels.
  5. Welcome fellow Missouri'n.......!!!!!!
  6. Stunning!!!!!! I really need to get one of these kits.
  7. Colors and options...... https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a38090450/2023-chevrolet-corvette-z06-colors-options/
  8. Super nice job on that Bug! Very fond of the VW Bug. My first car was a 71 Super Beetle.
  9. Very cool builds.....LOVE the background shots.
  10. Rockford's Firebird............................SWEET......!!!!!! ?
  11. I remember I built a kit like this as a kid in the 70's but it came with a painted metal body. I have noticed that the top is ill fitting so it will need some attention. And she will be a bit jacked up in the rear. Side note, I did not find any of my paint brushes or spray cans. Must be somewhere in storage. Off to the local hobby shop.
  12. Going to build this one hoodless but with the top up. Thinking black with red interior and top. Using the engine/trans (red plug wires)/rear end/wheels from the Nova kit, decided not using anything from the newer Vette kit. Gotta find better rear tires.
  13. And keeps the cat from playing with small parts (my cat Shelby likes to play with the tires).
  14. Going to use a small roll top desk for a build area. Bottle paints in a drawer. Have to spray out on the patio. First build is a 53 Vette drag machine using a few parts from those other kits and parts drawer.
  15. The one I remember the most was pick up your toys and keep your room straight (EVERYTHING HAS IT'S PLACE). And don't yell back, if I call your name for any reason while you are out playing, just come home. Some of the neighbor kids would have an entire conversation yelling.
  16. Love it.....!! Interesting color choice, looks good on the fastback body.
  17. Good for him. Congrats Captan Kirk..............! Now I want to watch Wrath of Kahn.......................LOL
  18. I must be a lucky one as well. I sell lots of stuff on the Bay (since 2004) and use USPS and never have had a problem. I do list all my shipping as economy, 1 to 10 days for delivery. Never had one take longer than 10 days to get there but of course never has one gotten there in 1 day.....LOL And yep, prices have gone up. I sell a lot of VHS tapes. The shipping for one tape has gone up from $2.69 to $3.19 media mail in the last 5 years. Oh well, I just raise my shipping cost accordingly (currently $3.75) to cover that cost and the package material I use, 26 cent bubble envelop.
  19. I think I found a place to build a few kits while I'm stuck in an apartment. I'll post a pic once I get set up.
  20. You are right, don't mind me, I have no idea what I'm thinking. ?
  21. That makes sense. I just had no idea how heavy they are.
  22. WOW....that's crazy. I guess weight has no meaning since EV's do not have to worry about gas mileage.
  23. I was looking at the specs and was shocked that these things weight between 4600 and 4900 pounds. Good thing they are electric. Heck my 96 Crown Vic only weighs 3700 pounds.
  24. That's true. I also have to fix bad "hacker chimp" photography. I love that......"hacker chimp". LOL For sure. I need to reevaluate my thoughts on the term craftsmanship.
  25. Clean and tasteful. Those first 2 yeas of that style are the last design I really liked. I still like the new ones but the design is just OK to me.
