  1. Now my work space is cleared and ready for my next project! I'll be building my show case now and hope I can begin "showing off" some models in it soon! I guess sometime around end of January I can slowly start building the next truck! Don't know how long it will take to get the glass doors and shelves done. I'm having those made by a company near by!
  2. Thanks Ron! Nice to hear your words. I really appreciate it!
  3. Cool stuff! The build and the chalk! Might try that out! Thanks for sharing!
  4. I used the Revell chrome spray a lot recently and you do have to let it cure for quite a long time to be sure not to get any fingerprints on it. Luckily I had enough space to hold the parts and handle them but the trailer tank of my Pete seemed dry and I did get a print on it! After a week or so it's OK. Maybe you have to cure it in a very warm and dry place. That's my experience. Still I wouldn't want to miss it. It just looks cool. Did you do anything special to cure it, Gary?
  5. Jeff, that is WOW!!!
  6. Thanks! That would be great!
  7. Thanks Lee, would love to see the Autocar! They're just nice trucks!
  8. Nice bulldog Mack with a can on back! Love that combo! 😉
  9. OK, since refurbished ones count too, here are the ones from `24: My Mack RS700L "Rubber Duck" got a new hood and bullbar (tiltable), new front wheels and the original "Rubber Duck" on the hood! And this Mack DM800, which was more than boring out of the box, not painted, got a new look! New paint job, new bumper with a winch, new stack and decals: and of course my newest refurbished project, the recently finished Pete 359 which made a metamorphosis from a not very cool camper to a pretty cool tanker truck (my opinion) with a brand new trailer!
  10. Thanks. I like that one too! Especially cause its from my favorite movie!
  11. Didn't like it that much either to be honest!
  12. You're probably right! I started out with an AMT kit but after that I bought the 1/32 Freightliners (coe and conventional) and a tanker and reefer. After those I went Back to the 1/25 kits again! If I had had todays skills, maybe I would have stayed with the snap kits!
  13. Congrats Steve! Looks like we're into a new and interesting build!
  14. Nice Idea for a build! I love those Bulldogs!
  15. Don't worry about it, Jeff! Nuts and bolts fit together perfectly! 😂
  16. Do refurbished ones count too or only new ones? Just in case, I'll post only the new ones! All completely printed (except for tires, air lines, antennea) 352 Pete day cab beer truck: 4100 IH Conco: K100 with belly dump trailer ("Lizard Tongue" from Convoy!): and a 1960 Autocar DC75T I also refurbished my Mack DM800 and the R.D. Mack as well as the just posted Pete 359 tanker with a (new) trailer!
  17. That's a beautiful region too! I lived outside of Chicago!
  18. Glad I could give you an inspiration! I'm sure yours will be a great build! I'll stay with you!
  19. Thanks very much everyone! I am proud of this build but even more of your feedback.
  20. Yes, that's true. But the way these kits are built here in this forum it doesn't really matter. I haven't seen one single 1/32 kit here where the wheels harmed the look of it. Yours included!
  21. Thank you Steve! Glad you like it! As soon as I got my show case finished I'll start my next build! After that I think I'll actually build the R.D. Mack in 1/32! As a tribute to your 1/32 affinity and to show you how I respect your abilities!
  22. Thanks Jeff! I wasn't really satisfied with the camper either! It did have a few nice details but it looked a bit .... ! Otherwise I would have never changed it! I'm really happy about it now and I appreciate your great feedback!
  23. Thanks! I've got the material at home! Won't be long! 👍
