  1. That's amazing! Your paint finish is flawless (I really love the blue), as well as the bodywork on the hood.
  2. That is a beautiful build sir! It's super clean and very well done.
  3. That's pretty sweet! I love a good rebuilder.
  4. That's an outstanding build, sir! Your paint looks amazing, I love that silver (I use it a lot for a base coat). I appreciate all the info you put in this post, as I plan on building one of these kits myself soon.
  5. Yes sir, that's exactly right!
  6. That's awesome! You nailed it, an exact replica.
  7. That's pretty sweet! I love the multi-color paint.
  8. Very nice! That's a pretty cool build.
  9. Finished this one up in February,
  10. You seem to be a bit like me, in that you build what you want. I don't worry about how accurate something is, even if it's mostly box stock. I tell people it's "custom" if I add something different.
  11. That is a super clean build! Your paint is flawless.
  12. That is a beautiful build, your color combination is amazing! I really love that pearl green.
  13. Looking good! It looks like there's some flash on the driver's side fender, near the firewall. Try trimming with an exacto blade or sanding it. Maybe check the underside of the hood on that same side as well.
  14. That's pretty bada**!
  15. That's beautiful! Those two shades of blue look great together.
  16. Beautiful build! I love that silver, I use it quite often. That interior is absolutely gorgeous, wow!
  17. Very cool! I really love the color, it looks like a factory option. I like this kit so much, I picked up a 2nd one.
  18. That's beautiful! I love the 80's Porsches!
  19. PM sent. I wouldn't mind having the 71 T-Bird, as well.
  20. That is stunning! I see your point and agree 100% with you on that, especially when a kit has been produced by more than one manufacturer. Some get the body proportions more accurate, while others have more detailed interiors or engine compartments. By combining the best features of the same kit from different manufacturers, you can create a visual masterpiece. It doesn't even have to be the same make and model, to take the best features from. This is what separates an assembler from a builder.
  21. Yeah, I see your point, Lol.
  22. Thanks for such a detailed response. It's so interesting how different everyone's technique is, when it comes to rusty & crusty.
  23. That's some awesome weathering, and paint work. The amount of detail you added is incredible!
  24. Yeah, definitely not a misdemeanor. Lol.
