  1. That is one gorgeous street machine! The blue & tan really look good together.
  2. That's a good- looking T/A!
  3. That is a beautiful build! I really love the blue.
  4. That is beautiful, especially the paint! You're talking about sanding the bare plastic, correct? Did you sand the silver before you shot the color coat?
  5. That red & white look amazing! The extra details you added really grab your attention.+
  6. Does the H.D. truck have the trailer still with it? What particular NASCAR kits are you looking for? I mostly have older 80's kits & a Rusty Wallace Alugard Salvinos.
  7. I wouldn't mind picking up a 78/79 promo, but the only one I've seen online is priced a bit high for me ($150.00 on Etsy. I try to avoid evilbay). I love your build, but hated what happened to the movie car.

    Baja Buggy

    That's such an awesome build,and a great replica! I love a 1:1 car recreated in 1/25 scale!
  9. Excellent work! I really love the Sublime & black. This is my least favorite Cuda body style, and after reading about your experiences in hoping the fit issues would be corrected, I will not be buying one of these (straight up reissue- how disappointing).
  10. Excellent body work & paint, the seams are completely invisible! I love your choice of colors.
  11. That's a beautiful van! The extra detailing & scratch building definitely improved the look of the engine bay 1,000%.
  12. That's amazing! All the extra detailing really brings it to life.
  13. Excellent replica. Very well done! Is that the Trumpeter kit? The only 78/79 Monte Carlo kit I know other than that, is the "Wheeler Dealer" (of which I have one).
  14. Very cool!
  15. That is beautiful! I really love the color combination.
  16. My granddaughter got a bracelet making kit for Christmas, a few years back. I would use some of the beads for that exact purpose (sometimes if you looked closely, they would spell words (Lol).
  17. I am so excited for that kit to come out. I have the blue & the yellow box art kits (1 built). Can't wait for those Golden Eagle decals! I watched an episode of "Junkyard Empire," where the guy put an AMC 401 in his Jeep & turned it into a Golden Eagle (white with gold decals & wheels).
  18. I actually ran the machine that "buffed" the letters on the top of the Ford manifold. We painted them black, then the parts came to my machine (it was basically a giant belt sander). After they were buffed, we then clear coated them. It was a dirty, smelly, nasty place (but I did like the work).
  19. Very nice! I love a good rescue story.
  20. Wow, your paint finish & detailing is pure perfection!
  21. I'm surprised to see that no one has posted a flyer for this year's event. I believe it's the 17th of February in Salisbury, NC (same place as last year). It's a swap meet, no contest. I was thinking about getting a table (if it's not too late), and "thinning the herd" as the saying goes.
  22. Nice fleet you have there!
  23. That's beautiful! I really like the button detailing on the seats. My daughter got upset with me when I said "The Wrangler is a modernized poorly-engineered version of a REAL Jeep (a CJ-7 with a V-8 & manual transmission)." Until she started having issues with hers, that is.
