  1. We appreciate all your efforts putting this together White Rabbit. ?
  2. This brings back memories for me. I don’t remember painting any of my early builds as a kid. I started around 7 yrs old. My first paints were from a box of assorted testors colors. I usually found one color I liked the most and used it for everything. Used way more glue than necessary. I had a bad habit of forgetting to cap the tube of glue too. I do remember using sewing thread for spark plug wires. It didn’t take long for those threads to be full of dust clinging to them.
  3. Restomod is definitely out of my comfort zone. I’m looking forward to the challenge. From what I can gather restomod is more about safety and reliability upgrades. I am a bit confused on what’s allowed on the performance end of it. Is there a limit to motor size ? Will any size be good if it’s naturally aspirated ?
  4. Marine bilge exhaust fans tend to be less expensive than those sold for paint booths. The marine versions are made to handle fuel vapors and are more than adequate for our hobby.
  5. My prescription glasses broke so I used some dollar store reading glasses until my new prescription was ready. I will never operate power tools without my regular glasses again. I lost part of my left thumb on my table saw because my thumb was someplace different than where I thought it was. I’ll never use a shaper again without push blocks either. I lost the tips of 3 fingers on my right hand. HDF dust get quite slippery.
  6. I'm already in for the 2024 cannonball run build. I might as well put my name in for this one too. Should help me stay motivated and get creative too.
  7. I never heard of radwood before this thread. I like it. If we go that way it gives me an excuse to build a model of a car I once had.
  8. I’ve never done a group build before. Will there be rules ? Or just whatever fits in the theme.
  9. Very nice. 67 is my favorite of the 1st gen camaros.
  10. Is it too early to put up a poll ?
  11. Those old customizing bits are great in my opinion. A true testament to the early years of model building. Looks cool.
  12. Is Radwood going to be the official theme ?
  13. I've used his disc brakes and rotors and Ive got a few motors. Everything has been very detailed and I've had no issues.
  14. Love it
  15. I’d like to take part in this upcoming cannonball run. Whatever the theme is I’m sure I’ve got what I’ll need in my collection.
  16. I’d have to change my screen name if I didn’t comment on this one. Very nice and I like the upgrades. Well done.
  17. I like how you’re not afraid to take on subjects that most people wouldn’t even think about.
  18. great looking car. Love the Rhode Island license plate ?
  19. I think this is the first time I’ve seen this kit actually built. I know a few people who started it but never got around to finishing the kit. Looks great, looks just as it should.
  20. It may have been a fight, but you won. Nice looking car.
  21. In the short time I’ve been back in the hobby I’ve heard so many good things about him. My condolences to his family and friends.
  22. When I worked on boats I found micro balloons at a marine supplier. They were usually near the resins and epoxy dept. ETA amazon has them too
  23. And now the theme song is stuck in my head ? looks very nice
