  1. Thanks Phil. The colour is my usual home-brew of cheap tube artist's acrylic paint thinned with Windex for spraying and then a Future type floor clear over that. The colour I matched by eye to internet photos of the real thing. Can be hit or miss but I lucked out in this case.
  2. Wow! Beautiful stuff Bob.
  3. Gorgeous colour Tim. VERY impressive!
  4. Thanks Robert. From what I can ascertain back in the mid 80s AMT reboxed some of their old classics into the Connoisseur Series. I've also got that series 1928 Lincoln Sport Touring in my stash. They come up on Ebay occasionally for reasonable prices.
  5. Thanks Steve. I'll put those right. Easy enough to do- no rusted tight nuts, bolts or screws on plastic models of 1932 cars!
  6. In spite of the ''aaagh!!'' factor you've still managed to produce a handsome model Louis. BTW, who gets to spend the contents of the swear jar?
  7. Wow! NICE build! I'm the same as Gerald: wasn't aware of the full size or model.
  8. There's no way I was going to build this kit anything but stock but it does come with a pretty good 350 ci motor that I'll put in something else at some point.
  9. That paint colour and finish is something else!
  10. Wow! Amazing output and quality.
  11. Nice! Looks great.
  12. Beautiful little rod!
  13. Like, groovy man. Nice tribute!
  14. Wow! Gorgeous colour and interior trim combo.
  15. Super job Rich! Looks great.
  16. Nice job Matthew! These old Monograms were certainly great kits.
  17. VERY nice Dana. How did you get the vinyl top appearance?
  18. Well maybe a little...... I still love it anyway Walter. Top build!
  19. Authentic 'period' atmosphere Ken. Top job mate.
  20. Now THAT is one smart looking little rod. Top job Ken.
  21. Neat build and VERY appealing! Love it.
  22. Nicely made pair Jim. As kids my brother and I were big Hot Wheels fans and spent many hours racing our Mongoose and Snake funny cars.
