  1. Thanks, means a lot man!
  2. Looks cool, I've seen a real one at a goodguys car show, there awesome!
  3. This is my spin on one of the baddest factory machines ever built — the 1964 Ford Thunderbolt! It's completely box stock except for the plug wires. I used MCW Wimbledon White for the paint, finished with Rustoleum Enamel Clear. My goal was to make it look like it just rolled out of Dearborn Steel Tubing, with that mighty 427 tucked deep inside. This kit was an absolute blast to build — everything fit together perfectly. Easily one of my favorite builds to date! Here's the WIP: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/200076-revell-64-tbolt-off-the-show-room-floor/page/2/#comment-3019684 Thanks for looking. Elliot.
  4. Got it wrapped up last night, here's a sneak peak, look for it in under glass. Elliot
  5. Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it. Yeah, the rear seats are tricky but I was happy with my black wash technique. I also saw this video that looked like it had a good result. https://youtu.be/Wn7Q4qnU6xk?si=VpYHeMilbUsLi8pb
  6. Got my first mcw enamel paint for my 64 Thunderbolt. Sprayed and cleared it, looks pretty good if I do say so my self. Just keep in mind, I don't have the best lighting.
  7. Thanks! Means a lot. 😁
  8. Got the body in MCW Wimbledon white and rustoleum enamel clear. Just needs some wet sanding and polishing (my lighting isn't the best). Also got the chassis and wheels sprayed body color. Once those dryed, finished up the chassis. Thanks for looking. Elliot.
  9. You spoiled the 2nd movie for me 🙁. I know it's at the end of the 1st though.
  10. Thank you very much sir! Oh yeah, that's one of the reasons why this is my favorite car!
  11. The picture didn't load on my end. Would love to see it.
  12. The chopped radiator shell is one of my favorite parts of the car🤣.
  13. Got the chassis in my custom mix primer and finished the rear end. I also got the grill and rear tail light assembly done, the front bumper had to be stripped then sprayed aluminum. Oh I almost forgot, got my tires sanded.
  14. Cool! Can't wait to see what you do with this interesting kit.
  15. Went to my local Ollie's and they had the trailer, camaro, and the raptor but no 32 ford, the one I wanted. I came home empty handed because none of the others interested me.
  16. Nice find, are they supposed to come with 2 of everything?
  17. I would say there's at least 10 ford trucks cobbled together to make 2 by the looks of it. By the way, nice job!
  18. WOW, I see no print lines at all (maybe just the photo). Gonna be an amazing build!
  19. Thank you, I was confused on how I would reliably attach that and that came across my mind too. Thanks for the suggestion!
  20. Got the interior done with a hodge podge mix of testors enamels, don't ask me to replicate it, I never could. I am really happy with how it turned out, I always love a good gold ford interiors. I saw many complicated methods to replicate the cloth online, i found a way more simple way on this kit. I litterly just put a acrylic wash down and it worked really well with the kits raised texture. Elliot
  21. Awesome corvette, stance is amazing!
  22. This paint job is decanted Rustoleum enamel clear and sprayed through a airbrush. 1st time doing it, pretty durable and polished well. The reason I decanted it is the nozzle on the can sprays way to heavy and made my paint lift multiple times. Light coats are the key!
