  1. Not my cup of tea, but great looking model! Especially the louver detail on the 'boot'.
  2. It's not fair, Doc. If you do rust well you shouldn't be able to do shiny, and vice-versa Great paint and graphics.
  3. My first car was a '66 Monza I got for $400 in 1972! Maroon, black interior. Great little car. Sold it to my uncle when I went in the service and he totalled it I've got the AMT Prestige release to build when my skills get a little better. Yours looks great!
  4. This is way cool. Love the color and the kart adds a nice touch. Nice job.
  5. Very nice. These old pickups really are cool. Great job, and welcome.
  6. Beautiful clean build as always. Great job! You do know there are other drivers out there, right?
  7. Love the colors! Let us see more pics when ready.
  8. Wow. No wonder you guys paint what can't be seen
  9. Great replica of one of my favorite cars. I wish mine had turned out half as good. Makes me want to strip it and try again!
  10. Primer maybe, but not paint where it won't be seen. Under the seats, for real?
  11. Very kewl. Excellent flame job. Nice to see one that's not chopped!
  12. BMF is frustrating but it makes all the difference. Nice job, love those Impalas.
  13. Very nice. Love the air cleaner detail and those killer wheels. Great job!
  14. X2. Winter is when the 'honeydo's' go on the back burner and I get some quality (and quantity) building time. As for driving, be sane, stay off the brakes, watch out for the other loonies and you'll be fine. Winter driving teaches skills that help year round.
  15. It's a good mag, info on resin and diecasts as well as styrene. My wife left my subscription lapse Looks like I'm going to miss 162 until I get reinstated. Sorry Greg!
  16. What Justbill said about Solvaset. I only use it on compound curves or when decal needs to snuggle into a door line or roof flap. Works great, and don't panic when it looks ruined!
  17. Nice job so far Mark. Please post more pics as you go. I'm going to attempt a Tony Stewart chevy in the near future and was wondering how to modify the nose.
  18. It seems the races are all determined in the first turn of the first lap. After that there isn't much action at the front. I don't care much for road courses, either.
  19. Ghostbusters for the fins and such, but the Monogram Eldo for chassis, engine, interior, almost everything else.
  20. X2. If you can't find it here, you don't need it
  21. I've got a dozen or so books on NASCAR, lots of vintage photos. That and a few years worth of 'Rod & Custom' and 'Muscle Car Review'.
  22. Great find! I've got both of these but haven't got around to them. Have fun!
  23. Love it. Very clean build. Nice color choice.
  24. Too cool for skool, man! Great job.
  25. Very cool. Great color scheme, clean build. I like it a lot
