  1. What pleased me was yesterday I found out WIP means Work In Progress. Been on the forum for 6 months never knew what WIP stood for until yesterday I had a random thought about that.
  2. Congrats to you, man; I remember celebrating my Grandparents' 60th, in 2020, amidst the Covid pandemic. Put a homemande 60th Anniversary sign in the window and it was just me, my Grandparents and my mom. That was a good day May 14th.
  3. Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario 1962, Algoma West Used Cars
  4. Like the '59 Edsel and the '62 Galaxie, and the Fairlane and the custom Ranchero as well as the '64 Malibu and the Falcon Wagons
  5. Nice assortment of muscular vehicles, I dig the Superbee and the ford Truck
  6. I still have yet to build my usernamesake car; actually contemplated picking up the kit a few times but always found something of greater interest
  7. Funny, I just realized I did 12 this year, so that’s like one for every month but I started in March
  8. My relatives from down south came up for Christmas and brought a whole crop of Old Autos Newspaper from Bothwell Ontario that were apparently were being sold for free. There’s 22 of them from years 2021/2022. May not actually read them until I’m an old man but they’re interesting.
  9. Ah yes the Thunderbird; I too forgot about that one, and it’s my favourite of all your builds. I think in the original post I mentioned it reminded me of like an early HotWheels. The colour and the redlines are spot on 👍
  10. I usually just pick them up from Walmart, no subscription. The Feb. Classic car issue is out now I have it. Just waiting for Muscle Machines Feb issue then that’s it. I am kinda sad even though I know the two will be shoved into Motor News but that mag is too large, the classic car a muscle machines were conveniently sized. That being said I may pick up a Motor News once a while, but not as regularly as I did the other two mags.
  11. They are I believe 1:25 scale
  12. The 1957 Ranchero and 1964 Fargo are both piggy banks; you slide the tonneau cover back a little, revealing the coin slot. The Fargo I picked up at the Canadian tire in the Yukon in 2022 when we went for a summer trip there, but they sold them at our local Tire also. Just has a better story to it.
  13. I like the Cameo and the Thunderbird. Also the Ontario plates are nice touch
  14. Like the Cameo Chevy and the Riviera
  15. Yes I am too a fan of the Canadian cars, there’s a book called Monarch Meteor that I have about the Canadian fords; if you haven’t got that book either that would totally be one to add to your book collection.
  16. Is the last issue also the February issue like muscle machines?
  17. I noticed some fellow modelers showcase their kits from the past year so I'd like to share mine also. Nothing crazy, but this has to have been my favourite model year in terms of the kits I got and also this past June when I found the forum. Definitley the most interesting model car year since I was actually able to share 3 years worth of kits with all of you and I totally appreciated the nice comments about them and the knowledge and advice shared since I've been here on the forum. Here's to the 2025 Model Year. March 2nd (my dad's build) March 10th March 15th March 26th June 13th July 27th September 5th October 22nd November 8th November 22nd December 10th December 20th
  18. Not a single clound in the sky anywhere at all; first brutally sunny day since before the snow came in late November. Mind you it's still -20 degrees celsius but hey, nothing but blue skies. Always a good day when the clouds are no where to be found
