  1. That's too bad they're discontinuing it; good thing I got mine for Easter 2023. Really nice kit to build; no issues whatsoever
  2. Myself spelled backwards is Flesym.
  3. I guess another thing that pleased me is that on Thursday I had put up these wooden posts with the orange tape tied around the top of each and put them in the ground marking the perimeter of my grandma's driveway so the guy who does the snow removal knows were the driveway is and so now he's been doing a good job as I had mentioned in "What irked you today" the bad job he did prior to my putting the markers up.
  4. While searching for cars for sale I had been noticing a lot of T-Birds years 1958-66 for sale but they were mostly under $15,000, and said cars were in very good condition. I guess my question is Why don't Thunderbirds seem to hold their value? I mean, it's a 2-door coupe with a 390 engine, and nice luxury components. What's not to love? Not saying I don't knock the fact that they're selling cheap because the average joe (like me) could get a nice car like that pretty easily. For example, this attractive '64 here in Selwyn Ontario is pretty pristine, and could be had for $8,900! A steal in my opinion.
  5. I guess another one of my favourite cars would have to be my Great Uncle's Thunderbird; one being because seeing the colour in person, in the sun is just breath-taking; photos never do the car justice. Also because it has a relatively neat history being an original car sold here in town back in the day, and also going for a cruise in the thing is pretty awesome. I wasn't even around when cars like this were new, so being in the car and going around is just the most coolest feeling. So it's my favourite car because of the history of it, and the adventures we get into while cruising about.
  6. UPdate with the snowmachine, once uncovered and gas was put in it fired up within ten minutes of priming gas into the carb and cutting the frayed ends off the pull cable.
  7. Was able to uncover the 5 feet of snow atop the snow machine. Hoping to be able to start it up as it hasn’t in almost two years.
  8. Kits for Christmas would be real nice but I should build my 1962 Pontiac Catalina before I get any more.
  9. They’re 1:18 scale; pretty big but my photography makes them look smaller
  10. These, as far as i'm aware of, are only avaliable at Costcos. Bought one every year for the past three. They come around October and into christmas time and then they're gone. The '71 Datsun was my first one, then the Charger, and just two months ago, the GTO. They're pretty darn detailed for a Maisto brand, having opening hood, doors, trunk, working steering, and shocks; yes, little springs above all four wheels acting as real suspension. Detail is pretty outstanding, too. Though the cheapness of the brand is evident in certain areas.
  11. Discovered them back in 2022. The 1975 Galaxie 500 LTD from South America was basically a '66 And the 1980 Galaxie was also essentially a '60s car. Same style until 1983. 1961 Chevy Trucks were neat 1963's version of the Suburban, the Chevy Amazonia
  12. Mysteriously, the mysterious mystery unfolded.
  13. Really like the '64 Galaxie Wagon and the '60 Impala and also the DeSoto and the '59 Edsel Wagon, but Also the '56 Meteor Rideau; that car's a long way from home as they were Canadian cars.
  14. do do do, de da da da, is all I want to say to you.
  15. Now that's my kinda El Camino; It's a '68, the '69 had a different front bumper
  16. Well that's neat; congrats, man 👍
