  1. Is that a 1973 Reliant Regal Supervan Robin 3 Delivery Microcar?
  2. I had no idea there was not any boat tail Riv models; just assumed they did have one because it is a rather famous car. That’s so sucky that no model car companies have one. Missing’ out on an opportunity there for sure; I’d buy one, and then build it like the green one from Due South.
  3. Yeah I agree with the “Mach-E” Mustang being a stretch; I mean the Mustang has to be the most iconic muscle car, but then turning one electric and making it an SUV is sort of an odd choice. Must be Ford’s way of keeping the Mustang name alive after gas cars become outlawed in the far future, if that is really going to happen.
  4. I know on that blue ‘50 Chevy, at the time of the fall photos, someone came with a hacksaw and took the steering wheel, cause it was there when I took the photos from 2022.
  5. They should make model kits of Concept Cars, starting with the 1956 Mercury XM-Turnpike Cruiser
  6. I think our conclusion here is that the number of doors doesn't make the car, the performance and reliability are the most important things. I know some people dislike the Charger name being applied to a four-door because of the historic lineage of the original Chargers and I understand that. I also know some people couldn't care less about the new gen being a four door, because really, who cares. The car "evolved" to fit the new world, and I think there's something interesting about that.
  7. I was also introduced (to the world) in 2006, but I have known the current Charger gen has been around longer than 2015 ?that meme was just random from the inter-web
  8. turns into a Gremlin
  9. I know even four-door classic cars are becoming popular; just add a set of Cragar rims and you got the coolest ride on the block, no matter the number of doors.
  10. These are nice
  11. Patience is a virtue I do not have when looking to buy a Classic Car
  12. What I didn't like about it is that a 2-door wasn't an option; but I heard Dodge is bringin' the Charger back with optional 2-doors but it's Electric so the "Charger" name no longer refers to a man on horse, but to the plug in which charges the vehicle
  13. Lap belts were more common back then, I would imagine, but obviously that still wasn't enough because your whole top-half would be thrown, while the rest of you is strapped to the seat; not really the safest. My Great Uncle's '65 T-bird has the original lap belts and they fit quite snug, but you'd still get thrown forward in a collision.
  14. There's these stupid cars that the other kids "modify", namely Volkswagen Golfs, they modify the exhaust so it's really loud, and they scream down the road in those things, shifting and backfiring; gets annoying.
  15. Last evening's A&W car show was a little slow as the show started at 5pm and the street is extremely busy, so not too many showed up right away. A&W has been more accustomed to hosting their shows on weekend afternoons, so the lot is basically filled up before the show actually starts.
  16. We got a geese problem in our city; they're all over parks and the boardwalk and they leave the cement walkways smothered with their droppings and it was so bad the geese dilemma made it onto our local news. It is illegal for us to hit a goose with our vehicles, so we can't get rid of them that way, but what is apparently going to happen next spring is that some dudes are supposed to take a bunch of the eggs away so the population declines enough that we can walk with freedom in our parks
  17. Saw this yesterday on its way to the A&W car show
  18. The whole online shopping thing is just sad. ?
