  1. When I was growing up in suburban Houston in the sixties, the neighborhood gearhead guy bought a ratty ‘57 Chevy 210 2-door sedan roller. He dropped in a 327 vette engine, painted the outside white and the gutted interior yellow. He left off all the external bright work including the grill and front bumper, welded in a length of cast iron pipe in place of the rear bumper and mounted a pair of cheater slicks in back. That car eternally imprinted on me what a ‘57 Chevy should be. Especially after he gave me a ride in it. For anyone who hasn’t already seen it, my Spirit of ‘57 gasser build was inspired by the memory of that car.
  2. Same!
  3. It would make a perfect addition to the current custom cruisers series.
  4. Wow! The scope of that project is astounding! Great work as usual.
  5. Looks great so far. Attention Round2. Please reissue this kit!
  6. Historically, haven’t four doors as kit subjects been poor sellers?
  7. Friends don’t let friends electrify American icons.
  8. I’ll definitely need these to complete chronicling the Bronco lineage in my collection. Great work Mr. Goldman!
  9. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Post pics soon!
  10. That’s a perfect base. Are you going to remove the window frames and make it a hardtop?
  11. Great idea! Unless it’s the electric version.?
  12. Those are truly amazing. What an incredible job you did with the accuracy. Are those all based on the craftsman kits?
  13. One of my favorites is the Comet being raced in the UK in the pre ‘66 touring class at Goodwood.
  14. Absolutely! This is another great historical idea!
  15. No wonder you're so knowledgeable about these cars. That’s a fantastic job duplicating the rally car.
  16. Just as cool. Thanks for posting the cool pic.
  17. This looks like a road race version of that rally car.
  18. I’ve got a feeling the future sales outlook for the Round2 craftsman ‘64 Comet is about to dim significantly.
  19. An upcoming 1964 Comet kit is great news! The possible versions are numerous. Everything from an AFX cammer to a rally Monte Carlo stormer. Mavericks and same era Comets as well! We can now look forward to no longer being stuck with the scarce, outdated, non-stock, never to be reissued Johan tools! Even better! Other new pieces in the works! I’m a kid at Christmas again! Thanks so much to the crew at Moebius for all your hard work and dedication. You make this a fantastic time to be in the hobby.
  20. Since I decided to save and OTB build the old MPC ‘72 lwb stepside kit I had originally planned to use for this camper, and since the test shots of the 4wd version of the new wrecker kit reveal all the 2wd suspension components and front wheels are included, I’m thinking the hopefully eventual release of a 2wd version of this kit would make a far better camper basis than any of the current and outdated 1/2 ton Round 2 Chevy offerings. If I’m patient, perhaps Moebius will also release a 2wd 1 ton version of their eagerly anticipated ‘67 thru ‘72 Chevy lineup.
  21. That Starliner kit has an accurate FE dual quad setup including the lines and filters. Much better than the one in the ‘66 Fairlane kit.
  22. Once I have this one, I’ll only need Round2 to repop the old ‘73/‘74 MPC annual to complete the Charger lineage in my collection.
  23. Hitting the local cruise nights in my E-type.
  24. This is Ozzie. Or more affectionately known as the Oz man. He became ours two years ago when the neighborhood cat distribution system selected us.
