  1. Welcome to the forum
  2. Very nice. The inserts on the seats look awesome.
  3. My mother's father was Army, pfc2. I believe he was drafted. I never really had an opportunity to speak with him in any real sense, results of a stroke just before my family moved to NY from R.I., but everyone always spoke highly of him, that alone speaks volumes to me. My Stepfather was Navy, and my sister is a Marine. She served around ten years, her service was extended due to 9/11.
  4. Finally got to put some serious miles on the motorcycle today, rode over and cleaned up my grandparents Graves. Gramps served in WW2. The last of the parts for my ride on showed up and my wife found me a score of 3 kits on marketplace. One of which is the first kit I ever built. Today was a pretty good day.
  5. My wife found these for me on marketplace. Still sealed. The Chevelle is the first model I ever built as a kid. I hope the t-bird is not ruined.
  6. Very clean looking wagoneer with a "this car climbed Mt Washington bumper sticker.
  7. Any tool or piece of equipment you use often you tend to grow an attachment to. The older craftsman products were built well, not so much anymore. I like the old one's like the massey your talking about from a history and capability standpoint. Real workhorses.
  8. I think your local Lowe's has a better showing. GM had the nicest styling in these years.
  9. Spotted this walking out of lowes. Nice to see one without rot or an obnoxious lift.
  10. Welcome to the forum Adam.
  11. That'll give you time to acquire the necessary money/parts to have it ready or close to ready when you're finally able to drive it. My father and I worked 3 years to repair what became my '65, I turned 18 and he signed the registration over to me. You're starting with a MUCH nicer condition vehicle.
  12. Yeah, I've been through that, not my most favorite experience. Hopefully it's a one time thing for ya
  13. I hope so, I've got 4 of them. Lol
  14. Awesome, I happen to like a Lemans more than Gto as you don't see them as often. Most Lemans were cloned into gto's. Very cool car you got, there's a ton of reproduction parts available to fill in the missing bits and pieces. O.P.G.i. is one I know of, they reproduce many GM parts.
  15. It's been a good machine, I've had it almost a decade. I picked it up for cheap($200) , the paints still original. I repowered it (23 hp vs 18) and made the necessary mods for the plow. I only use it to plow snow, and drag fallen trees around. my driveway is just short of 300 feet, too much for a shovel or snowblower.
  16. That's a bit overkill for my needs, nice tractor. I should look into buying a zero turn, I've got about 2 acres of lawn. The rest of my property is nothing but forest.
  17. I've got 2 tractors. My " snow machine " is a 70's southern states, true geared 4 speed. everything is rebuildable and serviceable. I've actually cut the idler pullies apart and replaced the 6203 bearing, readily available, and welded them back together. The ariens is maybe 10 years old and the only thing worth while is the briggs engine. It's one with a pressured oil system. Everything else is consumer grade junk. They want almost 100 dollars for the" variator" belt online. They're really proud of that belt. Here's a pic of the southern states.
  18. Congregations. Beautiful car. Radio delete car or just missing the antenna?
  19. Looks very good in that photo, polished up nicely. What's that just above the emblem?
  20. Fantastic grand prix. Great choice with the color.
